Do you think going to either a private or public school would affect and/or improve your education and grades?
Are private schools worth paying the tuition fees?

1.I went to a public elementary school but I've been going to private school for the last 3 years
2. It depends on the school. My grades haven't really changed.
3. Yes, paying tuition is worth it especially in places like Georgia which have terrible public schools. I was sexually and verbally harassed in public school.

1) Public school
2) I don't think it will affect your studies. It depends on who you mix with.
3) Is not worth it to pay for the tuition fees in private school. It is too expensive.

I think most of the private school students are very arrogant and i hate it!

private schools way better then public schools..........i've been in public schools for 7 years and private school for a year so far and noticed a big difference. the education is better at private schools and is way more orginized and there's only like 7 at most kids per classroom........ at my old public school there was like 20 kids in each class it was really hard to learn any thing so many distractions and some the kids where dumb so i didn't learn much. at private schools there alot rules but it's fun and safe. unlike at my old public schools where it was choatic and i was geting beatin up every day......every one was really rude and mean it was scary i hated public schools for that there needs to be order so a child can have a succsessful education.

Did/Do you go to a private or public school?:

Yes, I've attended catholic school since 1st grade

Do you think going to either a private or public school would affect and/or improve your education and grades?

In a way yes because I love checking out girls.

Are private schools worth paying the tuition fees?

Not really. I rather have the 8 grand spent on me for my car.

Did/Do you go to a private or public school?
currently go to private school

absolutly..lemme give u an example..there was this kid in my class in 6th grade..i think...in our school we have essay test every week and they average out all the grades and give us our final letter grade for each term. there was this guy in my class who had absolutly no idea what he was doing and the best grade he ever got was a 30%..i think..maybe less.anyways..his parents were afaraid he wud have to repeat the year ..therefore they took him out and put him in public school ..where he was the best in the whole school..winning spelling bees and math contests....so yes private school helps a lot!!!
Are private schools worth paying the tuition fees?

Did/Do you go to a private or public school? I did and then got shipped to a public :(

Do you think going to either a private or public school would affect and/or improve your education and grades? I think if I had stayed in the private school (and it had very good discipline) I would have done better. Since I went to public school, everything was more laid back and people could just get away with doing minimal. The class was a nightmare with troublemakers - so they got 100% attention. I can't really explain it but I swear I would've done better if I was still at boarding/private school because there were no distractions.

Are private schools worth paying the tuition fees? Of course since the standard of education is high.

Basically, I wish I had been able to continue at private school. I think everything went down hill when I went to public school.

And on a side note... The exams/coursework is so tough and won't really prepare you for the real world. You just revise and churn out the crap again to pass. I'm glad I'm at university now to get me out of the middle of nowhere retirement countryside. I'm still a bum, failure and getting nowhere. Should've stayed in private.

Well there my 5 squid. Enjoy! x x x

It depends on the person hu is studying,it doesnt matter where or wat kind of school he/she was going at, although i do not agree on wat yemachan said, here in philippines there is a BIG edge of diffrences between, wealthy and not much (poor to be specific), but as i said, it depend on the person how to deal w/ every situations will come and conquer in life, ^_^

big edge in what? money? status? c'mon, they are little factors that will not even affect a person's future. In the end, the school doesn't matter anymore most of the times. The actions on what you do to your life will matter. ^^ (some successful people studied in public schools when they were young)

To the person above: I am not putting the country to shame, why should I? I am stating mere facts O-O...I am actually defending the government's curriculum and the quality education it gives (the teachers try their best... they really do...)I never saw something in my previous posts that would put Phil to shame...Gods, I'm obviously misunderstood. It pisses me off...>_<

I think i am being also misunderstand by you, i didnt say that you're putting our country in shame, i just said what problem exist here, and thats reality, maybe there are (perhaps, still) some honest people who was living the right way but most of them we're not.. thats reality, im not implying anything well i guess i just have to ask for forgiveness,i guess i overdo something, well im sorry, what i said had no offense meant, i just said the truth, im sorry again,

i went to both...but my private school was typical and public school was one of the top in the nation...so in this case, the public school education was better...however, lots of my friends at my private school came from very dysfunctional public schools.. so i really think it depends of the school..overall, most private school students recieve a better education than public school, so i guess it would be worth the money..if u learned something..
