alright, i'll tell you why everyone likes em ;D. He's cute BECAUSE he's three feet tall and everyone who doesn't know him keeps assuming he's still in grade school, which is probably part of the reason he's an 'ass' (which i disagree with, yes he can be mean sometimes but he's an over all good person). He really cares about Momo, it's sort of obvious. SO he's not completely an i-love-myself-and-only-myself person. Everyone loves his bankai, I mean who wouldn't, an ice dragon, WOOP WOOP. Even though it's limited it's still cooliooo. Personally, i love his personality too. Mysterious, caring, confident, brave, loyal, ect.
