The anime and the game have different storylines. If you want to know the actual story reading the manga would be better since the anime has slight changes.

(Depending on which game it is though)
The game having several endings such as bad, true, and good endings.
-Basically the game setting is TRUE endings are the actual ending that is suppose to happen such as (Someone dies actually) sticking with the story point.
-The Good Ending has a bad ending but is changed up such as (someone is about to die but is saved in the end).
-I don't think there was a bad ending since i forgot it. <---I'm unsure though.

Btw about the anime i haven't really finished watching it but its pretty good.

Arcueid, she's a true ancestor; so she can't really die...if she drinks blood turning into her other form then there is a chance of dying from Shika though.

I don't like reviving old topics but i like this one since its also a game "Melty Blood"

Meltyblood not a hentai game.

i think he meant Fate/Stay Night since they are both created by Type-Moon it is easy to get them confused.

ive just started reading the manga, the story seems to follow the anime quiet closely so far. Tsukihime is a brilliant anime nonetheless.

Don't be stupid. The manga came after the anime. Type-Moon makes hentai games not anime. The anime they make are based off the hentai games they already made. In fact, Tsukihime was the first thing that Type-moon concentrated on after its founders immediately quit their jobs. The first successful game they made as a professional soft house was Fate/Stay Night.

ok, so, I sorry to be reviving such an incredibly old thread but... I just finnished watching this one and I was wondering who the red head was. I feal like i must have missed something. Although I had thought that maybe she was the woman from the dream ware he got the knife, the woman in the tree... but I'm not sure that I think that thats right. Then I thought about the fact that she looks so much like Akiha with red hair and thought that maybe she was Akiha's mother, but seeing her at the end made me really re-think that theory to! she is known to him as the sorceress and her real name is Aozaki Aoko. I recognize the name and feel like it was said sometime during the show, but I just can't place it and it's driving me insane! anyone have any answers or thoughts about who she is?

Many anime series don't follow the manga for the same serie. Take for example Fullmetal Alchemist. The anime's antagonist is Dante, while on the manga is Father. Each of them are their type exclusive (Dante doesn't appear in the manga, as Father doesn't appear in the anime). Most of the time, the manga is released before the anime and is considered the true storyline. Other times, an anime comes before the manga (although this is rare). However, I wouldn't say for sure which is the true storyline just because one was released before the other. That is something only you can find out by yourself, following the story that satisfies you more. That is because not everyone may agree that a certain storyline is the real one in a series that can have multiple storylines. Although this serie had multiple storylines game-wise, take for example FATE/Stay Night. I would say that the true storyline is the scenario in the game that follows the anime. However, if the anime followed another scenario, I would call that other scenario the real one. So at the end, you are the one who decides.

He didn't mean Fate/Stay Night. Fate/Stay Night was indeed a hentai game, but so was Tsukihime. Yes, there's a Tsukihime hentai game. I'd know, I played it. Melty Blood is action and came later.

This is the order of Tsukihime greatness:

Game > Manga >>>>>>>>>>>>> Anime

Read the manga and play the game and then tell me what you think about the anime.
