I want to know what your opinions are.. i believe that 2 wrongs dont make a right. We shouldn't have wasted time with iraq... nothing changed we just made it worse. We didn't make a difference and we still can't aknowledge that...

No offence, this topic need to be locked or at least you need to requote your first original post for this topic. Also the topic "Is the Iraqi justified?" is a little vague? What do you mean by Iraqi and justified? When you mean justified, is the current situation of the Iraqi people better now that war is at their doorstep (have then been any changes for the better or was it better during Saddam's time before American Intervention? Or are you refering to the reason made by the USA government whether they should have intervene into Iraq and compare between different countries situation why Iraq is special and need US intervention. Or are you talking about the current crisis in Iraq, the civil war infighting between the Iraqi people or the terrible conditions the American soldiers are in, facing sniper fire and suicide runs on them. Or are you referring to the American point of view, whether they should leave Iraq as quickly as possible as they are not welcome as liberators but as infidels.

Also it be better if you SEARCH for past topics similar to this once as this forum topic has been discussed prior, and read from everyone's opinion and discuss from there.

I hope what i said did not offend you, the forum topic "extended discussion" is where we discuss taboo and sensitive topics and all discussion is welcome and i hope you take my views as positive feedback.

I mean justified as in a justified war. people say that some wars are justified because of the circumstances and such. like.. if the war is right and Yeah i get what your saying but this is more of a fight for oil and greed then much else... We entered Iraq with the false belief that we could help the situtation of the civil war but we didnt. We should get out because your right we are getting sniped and bombed... so we should save our butts. Bush knows that he is sending people to Iraq and he knows they will have a good chance of dying. dont get me wrong i have family members serving terms in iraq. I support our troops but not the military itself.

Justified based on 3 perspectives, from the
1. Iraqi perspective, their views as being freed or oppressed.
2. USA perspective, war on Iraq for the right reasons, are they planning to leave for the right reasons too?
3. Muslim World, how they view this war and how it had affected them and those around them, attitude towards them
4. World View. how it had affected them

http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-3123/War-in-Iraq.html

From what i gather you are referring to the USA perspective, whether they felt they have been tricked into going a war for all the wrong reasons and now must make the difficult choice to continue this war or leave. Whether there were any ill intentions by the current US administration on going to war. Regarding the intentions of the current US government its hard to tell. only God will knows what their true intentions are. Also when you talk about this war as being justified or not, is it an excuse so that you can leave Iraq despite the mess (civil war) done there. I know US troops may need to leave but ignoring Iraq and letting them fend on them to their own is harsh. US troops may need to leave but we cannot turn our backs on them. Also instead of talking only about whether this is justified, are there any remedies we can think of to alleviate and come to understanding. I got school but i try to get on and we can talk more together.

To sum things up since I don't feel like making this into an essay:

I think that war won't solve anything.
It's time to bring the troops back home.
I agree with who ever started with topic.
Kuddos mate.

edit,
I meant to put I agree with northbound snow or what ever.

I don't think war will solve anything but for the people there we have been of help and we brought hope to them along with aid in things like food and medicine where it was needed.

Tired of these topics. Want to know if it justified or not? Go to Iraq first hand and speak to a local national.

i think we all dont agree with the war in iraq but then you see we have been there for so long that if we pull our troops out now, the iraqs would just start fighting themselves and then they would find a chance and say that they did this to them because we were teh one that took their prsident, leader whatever.....

Number 1. I don't understand the question, when you type Iraqi youare referring to an individual who live is in Iraq. Is the Iraqi justified? What Iraqi are you talking about?

Number 2. All your choices are pro war and saying the Iraqis deserved it- For me personally there are only two suitable choices- The last two.

I don't think anyone deserves war.

How can any war be justified??? anyone care to explain because wars only cause loss of life and everyone here seems to be only concerned with the US soldiers lives so what about all the Iraqi's that have died and are dying everyday??? America caused this mess, civil war you name it and they should sort it out. and no Iraq is not better of or liberated, also to the person that said that food and medicine are being brought to Iraq dont make me laugh, nothing is being brought there because its too dangerous, saddam may have been bad but Iraq was way better off with him anyday. to the person above^ regret or whatever america may have felt does not make it an excuse for them to go and kill people if that is your answer then the same could apply to the people that are accused of causing 9/11 they could also have been angry and might regret or not
sorry for the long post!!
