Only the ones on the first page. I don't have enough attention span to read 10 pages of mostly the same opinion.

I always at least read the first and last page, often skimming over pages in between...and if its interesting I'll read through 10 pages if I feel like it ^^

I just read the last and first but, i usauly read the last after i posted. I mean even in this thread i skiped page two. It dosen't really matter either way. The forms are there to get your opinion not argue your point. That's optional.

I try to read people's posts, especially in the serious threads of course.

However there is are slight problems which come up, let's take the starting post for this thread as an example;

Hello, just wondering if all the regular posters here read everybody else's posts before they reply their own. I've noticed that in many of the "opinion" threads where a controversial issue is being discussed most people just type their own thoughts without reading what the people before them said. I realize that in most of these threads there are over 6 or so pages which could get a little tiring to read through, but I've encountered a number of people who have obviously not even read the first or last page and just respond to either the OP or the thread title! Guys, that's a really bad way to post! To limit the amount of insignificant posts which just are just agreeable one-liners why don't more of you try to read what other people have said and quote them to make the discussions more interesting?

To be honest it is unreadable. It is one long paragraph... How about I make it readable?;

There, that's considerably less stodgy, no offence intended, however you may notice that I will try to split up my posts into easily readable chuncks, and highlight [bold] that which I consider important.

Back to the main question;
Sometimes (on discussion threads) I only read the posts which have been quoted, as I then know that they are the "intelligent" posts, or those by members who I respect for caring about what they say in forums.
