WHAAT?? those would be the last ppl playing this game, just because the game has no blood violence and the basics and themes of the game are a little kiddish doesnt mean its for those stupid fangirls. plus who the hell plays with those characters you listed, kirby, new and pikachu. i barely know anyone who plays with those characters. also the boss hand is only in the beginning levels of difficulty..... and lastly super smash takes waay more skill than halo 3

i highly doubt that last statement u said. and so would the entire world if asked which requires more skill. ssb is a side scrolling... okay... thats half of what you're doing. u go left right up down. halo is 1st person, not 3rd person. being in 1st person means u only have ur radar if given to help you watch your back. in halo there's depth, and skill required. in general u can't win a halo match slayer or other game type simply by mashing the buttons. in ssb, u can win a game simply by mashing buttons. so i highly doubt brawl takes more skill than halo, halo 2, or halo 3. in halo 3, only the skilled survive esp in xbox live. in brawl u can blindfold urself and mash away, 50/50 u win or lose. skillz? please

??? What you do in halo is shooting. What you do in call of duty is shooting. What you do in Counter-strike is shooting. It's so one sided that you're basically contradicting yourself.
The smash series are unique if you compare them to tekken, dead or alive or any other fighting game.
You have to at least have played smash to be able to critisize (I can already tell you haven't)...

*sigh* if you want an answer you'll get one (even though your next reply is only gonna consist of simple insults like the post above).

Firsr-person-shooting games are the number one overrated games on the market. For example: what is so great about each call of duty game? It's just another game were you're the patriotic american who shoots down nazis with one level added to it each game (no story only history) the world war games should have ended with the frontline series.

Counter-strike - it's just repititive shooting online.

Halo - no significant story just repitive shooting with a large variety of vehicles.
So were am I getting here you ask? What I'm saying is that if your good at one of these games you'll be good at the rest of them since your still only shooting!

Tekken/soul calibur/mortal kombat (and so on) are all fighting games were you just guard/parry and attack the opponents by moving forwards and backwards "that no tru cuz you can go sidevaise ya now." people rarely does that and even if they do it's useless without the proper reflexes.
The last thing to say about those games is that those, are the games you can win by button mashing.

Since you haven't played brawl I'm gonna explain how it works.

The concept of smash is to knock your enemies outside the field by applying enough damage then forcing him out by either hitting, throwing, luring him (there are more ways) from the stage.

What makes this game so great is that:

you have a field to run/walk/simply move on and you are not forced in a boring position which is rare for a plattform.

since you can fall out the stage it's not only the damage you have too think about but also how you can quickly finish them off, how to get back in and how to stop them from getting back into the stage.

you can't button mash since it's ridiculously easy to evade such a thing (imagine someone just throwing straight jabs at you and you easily take a step back).

the ground is not just a battle field. All characters also have air attacks and can stay in the air for a moderate time by jumping wall-jumping/floating) etc.

you can actually use your surrondings.

attacks that are all useful and you don't need to frikking train to just learn to execute them.

I will later tell you more on the skill part if you have shown me that you actually have red what I've wrought here...

^Way to feed the troll, guys.

Yea, I love this game. And since it has online play, you really just can't compare it to Halo anymore, SSB has left it in the dust. I've played all the Halo games, and...they are all the exact same thing. At least SSB adds some small new bits to each game. Just a few little things, that's all I ask of the Halo series, but no. They're all hype and lies. Smoke and mirrors, the most pathetic thing a game could ever be.

But, we're dealing with a Halo whore/troller, so all of our arguments are moot to him. In fact, we could show him evidence that would be conclusive on all, and any, levels and he's still flame, just because he's that sad of a person. So, let's just drop him, and continue with the actual point of this thread, instead of feeding his pathetic little "Halo's Bettur then SsB, lulz" bit.

I agree with above, but I still want to argue.

I think most games require strategy and skill such as the Halo and SSB series... but personally, i think after you master accuracy in Halo, you've become pro, the end. Movement is too slow in Halo to be able to play mind tricks, so i do think that SSB requires more skill to play. And button-mashers win no games. If you want to play an FPS and win with "skill", i suggest UT, not Halo.

It's just another game were you're the patriotic american who shoots down nazis with one level added to it each game (no story only history) the world war games should have ended with the frontline series.
you only say they are overrated because they are the most successful. and also because of the fact that you suck bawls at first-person shooters. you don't know proper gaming and you, good sir, are not a hardcore gamer. you think you have skills when your fox takes out his bootleg gun and shoots in a straight horizontal line? u think thats skill?

X =fox, ^^=pikachu, @= gun shot, ~~= trail of gunshot, #= damage

X@ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #^^
as u can see fox standing at the left hand corner of this platform game shoots at pikachu. pressing a button. no aim required. pikachu is hit.

there u go, the shooting mechanics of ssb. dont even give me bs about "oh but u can block, dodge crap"

Counter-strike - it's just repititive shooting online.

Halo - no significant story just repitive shooting with a large variety of vehicles.
So were am I getting here you ask? What I'm saying is that if your good at one of these games you'll be good at the rest of them since your still only shooting!

if you haven't figured out the story yet, then u probably suck so much that you couldn't beat a halo game. i recommend reading the books instead since you can't even beat a "simple, repetitive, first-person-overated-game"

Tekken/soul calibur/mortal kombat (and so on) are all fighting games were you just guard/parry and attack the opponents by moving forwards and backwards "that no tru cuz you can go sidevaise ya now." people rarely does that and even if they do it's useless without the proper reflexes.
The last thing to say about those games is that those, are the games you can win by button mashing.
i beat ssb pros b4 just by mashing. one thing u forgot is that tekken/soul calibur/mortal kombat are badass games. they don't have pansy looking characters such as pikachu, the gay bird falco, jigglypuff, kirby, that gay guy in ssb melee, the others are all half assed. in tekken/soul calibur/mortal kombat they all have badass characters that are buff and actually can beat the shit out of brawl characters. lets also talk about graphics. wiis graphics sucks. which means brawl graphics sucks. lets look at 360 graphics. 360 graphics are badass, halo 3 graphics are stunning zomgholyfuckworthy. the only badass character in ssb is probably snake.

Since you haven't played brawl I'm gonna explain how it works.

The concept of smash is to knock your enemies outside the field by applying enough damage then forcing him out by either hitting, throwing, luring him (there are more ways) from the stage.

sounds like an overdressed sumo match

What makes this game so great is that:
it at least has snake and that mexican plumbers luigi and mario.

you have a field to run/walk/simply move on and you are not forced in a boring position which is rare for a plattform.

so basically its just a left, rite, jump up, jump down. game, with overdressed sumo wrestlers.

hey lets not forgot the awesome items u play with: gooey bomb (lmaaao!!), bananna, hammer, beam sword (rofl), bunny hood (this confirms the faggotry)

since you can fall out the stage it's not only the damage you have too think about but also how you can quickly finish them off, how to get back in and how to stop them from getting back into the stage.
so basically u fight ur way till u get them off stage. they double jump back in, all you gotta do is stand by the edge and finish them off. simple and easy. oh but you're gonna say "skillz this skills that" bullshit

you can't button mash since it's ridiculously easy to evade such a thing (imagine someone just throwing straight jabs at you and you easily take a step back).
u forget that in mashing you are pressing all the buttons.. not just one button. so you can pull off combos, grapples, grabs, et cetera.

the ground is not just a battle field. All characters also have air attacks and can stay in the air for a moderate time by jumping wall-jumping/floating) etc.

kirby sucking air and floating, u do know that the pink ball doesn't stay up forever?

you can actually use your surrondings.

in halo you use your surroundings too, but in a funner way. in ssb u use these "platforms"

attacks that are all useful and you don't need to frikking train to just learn to execute them.

sure attacks can be easily learned to execute, but it's the timing and technique. you really aren't a skilled gamer. no wonder halo 3 seems to perplex you so much.

I will later tell you more on the skill part if you have shown me that you actually have red what I've wrought here...

p.s. halo 3 is the most successfull game in existent.

k well im finished with your redundant claims.
your reply was very very

and when will u realize that you will not win an argument at you low level wordiness. everything you just said, bashed about was just embarassing on your part.

talk to me when you actually have something better to say.
kthanksbaibai ^^

(*sigh* but I wanna flame him so bad) I guess your right...(still wanna f*ing flame him).

This game is pretty much the Wii's Messiah.

I agree, the Wii has some other good games like Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy, but this is the most anticipated game for the Wii.

Unlike those, Brawl has replay value. But they're still good.
