Mauz was kidding about him being black, he's 100% chinese. Mauz is a mod, obviously since he's a mod he's had conversations with Shinji, and personal life and etc popped up and Shinji answered and talked.. and so Mauz found out. I'm pretty damned sure they DO NOT know each other in real life.
