It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't as horrible as poeple keep saying. Indeed some scenes were reused multiple times except with slight changes and the story seemed as though they copied the main plot from the prequel as well as some ideas from the U.C. timeline, but I loved the further development into the story, showing the after effects of what could happen after a very popular gundam show (gundam seed). I mean, gundam wing had a movie afterwards, the U.C. timeline had various sequels, ovas, and movies, so this would make the third gundam show to have a continuation of some sort. I love it when they did that kind of thing! Not to mention, they showed the progression of Kira and Lacus' relationship, plus as far as relationships go they also showed viewers that not all relationships go off without a hitch! Dearka and Mirialia didn't have a successful relationship afterall, not to mention Athrun and Cagalli weren't completely ready for such a thing either! If that wasn't enough, they made Athrun look like a total babe magnet in this sequal, making it so there were four girls after him?! It gave this gundam show, in my opinion, a hint of harem genre mixed in. If that wasn't good enough, then unanswered questions that the prequel left, were finally answered! What were those three guys in the Calamity, Forbidden, and Raider gundams? What happened to Mwu La Flaga? How had all our favorite characters from the prequel turn out after the war? Even better, they took some old suits from the U.C. and recreated them! The new Zaku looked far better in GSD then it ever looked in the U.C. timeline! I would give GSD a rating of 7.8 because it wasn't perfect but it still rocked!!! man, u are like writing an essay here. gundam seed destiny got a lot of cool gundams, conversations and battle scenes. but the story itself is not tat good. a lot of viewers just watch it for the gundam. plus they got great music. and the game they made for ps2 are awesome |

I've only seen one in America, unless you're speaking of the ones not released in America as well. Are you? |

No one has ever been able to lay a finger on it barely. At least the Freedom has been badly damaged before and even destroyed. Not counting those times when he felt distracted or anything, but even at his best like in the fight against the Providence, he nearly got beaten, but made it through in the end. In the final battle between Wing Zero and Epyon, zero didn't even get a limb cut off. I don't understand why everyone says that they make the freedom look so unstoppable in gundam seed, when in actuality, that goes twice as much for wing zero! |

I liked After War X, and (obviously) Universal Century. Not so much with Turn A, even if it was supposed to be an alternate timeline to UC. Though this is just a comparison thing. Seig Zeon and Death to ZAFT. |

Seig Zeon and Death to ZAFT. I see. Personally though, I liked it how the story of Turn A Gundam combined all the stories of the previous gundam series' into one. It seemed very creative. |

I watched this on TV about 2-3 years before it was uploaded here. The series was looking good at the start, what with the supposed main protagonist now starting from the other side. It had potential to be better, but someone jacked the writing after a certain episode, resulting in pointless EXPLOSHANS, fanservice, and plot nonsense. There were some good scenes, yes (like one of the druggie Gundams getting finished off by 2 grunts), but still. Kira reappearing may or may not have been needed, but it was applied in a bad way. He ended up stealing the spotlight.
There is a PSP version of Gundam SEED: Rengou vs. ZAFT, and I have it. It features some of the earlier units (as well as certain characters) in Gundam SEED Destiny. I like the GuAIZ. |
