Why does no one ever bother to tell Shinn that he's an ignorant hot head with too little experience in combat and political negotiations to understand how the world really works? Everyone just sits and listens to his narrow minded opinions - it drives me crazy!!

Also I am confused. Why can't Athrun tell people that he is no longer engaged to Lacus? I think it's pretty safe to say she's with Kira and it's not like he is a bad match for her, I mean he is the Ultimate Coordinator as well as a hero of the last war. I don't get why no one seems to know about him and about his relationship with Lacus. Second, how does Shinn not recognize Lacus when they meet at the memorial? Was he too distracted? He should know who she is shouldn't he? I just find it weird that Athrun is pretending to be in a relationship with Lacus so long after. There doesn't seem to be a reason why after the war ended their split wasn't made known.

Although this doesn't really answers your question, nevertheless its still good to read/know. Fukuda's original intention for SEED was soooo much better!
If you don't know who Tomino is... He's the guy who invented Gundam back in 1979 (and yes he's still alive).

wow so the Fukuda was originally planning on killing Kira with Athrun thats sad but it would have been more emotional and dramatic than the actual ending. I probably would have liked Flay if she wasn't so freakin annoying I wonder if she would have acted the same if they would have went with Fukuda's original story.

I agree, some scenes were reused a lot but other than that, 7/10. Or maybe I'm biased  . |
