I never got into DDR. I even tried playing with the controller, but that didn't work out too well cause I don't think the music was in synch/time with the arrows (I'm not a music major, but I do play music, and I get really picky about timing xD).
Though, I can understand why people enjoy playing it. Hell, I see a lot of the asian markets sell the freakin' dance pads (like in a food and drug store o_o;;). But I guess after playing through a few songs it must feel like a workout, so it makes sense. :P
Hehe... I think it's pretty funny that all my friends that are really good at DDR suck at playing music. xD!! Crazy.

Its a fun game that can get people who are lazy active, good music and pretty fun to challenge friends or family.

It's just a fun game, like any other video game can be. It all depends on taste.

i think its just because you look at all these kids on commercials and stuff who are like 5 years old doing this shit with amazing skill, so you go home try it, suck at it and figure how the hell can a kid whos like 5 years old do it and not me, so u keep goin at it until you become so emersed in it you have nothing else better to do.

DDR is actually a good game in the sense that even if you are naturally good at video games, and can naturally play any video game well, theres little to no chance that that will be the case with DDR.
