Leg muscle builds up over time, if you're not used to the dancing and start playing on the easier modes for a while. Back when I was in track I sometimes got out of working out on Sundays by playing DDR for cardio.

DDR is just plain fun - at least it was when I played the earlier games. The recent games - DDR Extreme 2 and Supernova - they just suck all hell. I don't play as often anymore, but it's a fun game at parties, people making fools of themselves and whatnot!

DDR is a fun game - I used to love playing it, but now, I just sit back and watch people make fools of themselves. I won't deny that you look silly doing it, but heck, it's fun. It makes a great arcade game too, especially when you're with friends and you just want to do something. If you ask me, it's seems to be more appealing to the female gamer, but that's what makes it fun, because girls have this knack for dragging men to do things they'd really rather not...

I know someone that uses it for a work-out. It gets you sweaty after just a few games.

Yeah actually I am not that big into CS, though I do play it from time to time...Personally I am more of an everything gamer, but that being said, there is even some stuff that I won't touch...Guitar Hero and DDR are two of them...

Lol...I just had to answer this one...cuz I use it to lose weight xD Hahahaha...I mean there's a FREAKIN Workout mode for godsakes...Hahahhaa, & it actually helps

Have you seen that online dance game that nexon have made? I heard theres a new xbox360/ps3/pc online version comming out that uses actual dance mats being made by acclaim.

I love DDR... StepMania is awesome too xD
