DDR and drinking... typically, I start out doing a little bit better than usual, but by the time I'm genuinely drunk i can't pass anything (lose what little rhythm I have).

Now Warioware... that's a drinking party game!

DDR is the geekiest thing a person can do. Being DDR does not mean you can dance. Either way it's still a hell of a lot of fun. =D I can't dance for the life of me, but I can play DDR rather well. And honestly unless you are extremely coordinated I would LOVE to see people who have never even tried DDR (Yet bash it anyway) try dancing one of the Heavy modes. Good luck. It's not as easy as it looks (But kudos to you if you can get it down pat right away)

Not to mention it's awesome excercise for those of us who are allergic to the sun. A fat person can't play DDR everyday and stay fat. They'll lose weight eventually. =o Doesn't America hate fat people (Speaking as a slightly heavy American myself) so shouldn't you rejoice this kind of thing?

DDR is not the geekiest thing you can do. LARPers win that award. I'd say Furries, but they're subhuman and thus don't qualify.

I don't even like it but I have a few hints why people do.

1. Techno music ( Awesome stuff )

2. It's easy and a good game to play when bored.

3. It's a good way to compete for things ( Trust me )

4. If you don't like it, it's fun to even watch your friends play.

Glad to find someone else that feels that way. Some of the newer songs actually made me sick XP And the japanese versions have usually been better than the American released ones with exceptions to certain songs.


I agree as well. Fall Out Boy and Good Charlotte? Some of the songs don't even have a beat really, and it's just random arrows being thrown down the screen. x_x
