I'm not sure if anyone has seen/played it, but at my school we have a Dance Maniax machine, which is basically a spin-off from DDR (much of the same music, made by Konami). Instead of having the directional pad, there are a series of sensors which you have to pass your hand/foot/whatever over or under based on the series of little circles moving across the screen. Basically DDR, but with circles instead of arrows. It's fairly humerous to watch, since players can trigger the sensors with any part of their body.

i agree. definitely lose weight and it's fun trying to watch people who can't do it, try to do it.

The point is to get you off your lazy butt and move while playing a game.
There are schools in my area, primary schools, that have included in their recreational activities. It's part of their class activities outside of gym class.

its an ok game gets annoying sometimes in arcades though like if im playing jitz(fooseball) and the floor is shaking or when i walk past the station theres this huge smell of sweat.

i'm kinda pissed whenever i hear the stereotype about all asians being really good at DDR
