Uhh no. Don't use low end stuff from CVS. Go for the high end, things you buy from sephora usually runs about $$20+. It wouldn't be bad for the skin.

ohhh what about estee lauder? is taht a good brand to use?

lmao. yeah.
sometimes low end stuff is good.
not all high end stuff is good for your skin anyway;
if it contains mica&talc. thennnn its bad.

but; powders good right? to keep the shine down? =)

Powder, eyeliner, mascara.

That is the extent of my make-up knowlege. Assuming you wash your face, use a good toner, and don't pack it on (which would look terrible and defeat the purpose anyway) I don't think it matters all too much whether you prefer a powder, bronzer, or cover-up.

Although, this is all IMO, so if anyone has any scientific evidence that one is better for all skin types, commence ranting about my cosmetic ignorance.

Make-up that can be found in a liquid or powder base mad to conceal blemishes, redness, or give your skin a healthy glow. Go into any womens section, close your eyes and run frantically, and you are bound to find some.

wow...I am so amazed at the fact that there are so many misconceptions about makeup. Okay here's what you need to look for. First off, good makeup (even the cheap stuff) only looks good if you take care of your skin. So before you even think about makeup make sure that you wash, tone, and moisturize twice a day.

Now, when it comes to foundation, concealer, and blush/bronzers...you always want to make sure that whatever you use...that it says that it is "noncomedogenic." Translation: it won't clog pores. If you're going to skip the foundation and concealer, then there is really is no worry about breakouts occuring from bronzer. Most bronzers (and in my opinion the only ones you sould use) are in powder form so your pores will not absorb them. But as with everything and as I've stated before...WASH YOUR FACE.

Oh and for all of the people who say that makeup causes wrinkles. So totally wrong. Sun damage (80% of which is caused by the time you're 16) is what causes wrinkles. So all you little girls who sit out in the sun trying to get a deep tan...or go out and lay in tanning beds...all you're really doing is breaking down your skin on a cellular level. Want to prevent wrinkles...use sunscreen!!! The reason people think that makeup causes wrinkles is because foundations settle into lines and wrinkles that are present in the skin causing them to become more pronounced.

Best bronzers that I've found...estee lauders deep duo, dallas by benefit, (georgia peach if you want a nice blush), origins bronzed metal and sunny disposition (the original not the deeper hue)
