Get some things straight:
- even if incest was legal (in which case, the term would disappear I guess, since it would be just another sexual relationship), rape would not be. Those are different. So that would not be the problem. Legalizing rape would be a whole different area
- we do not regulate sexual realtions between people prone to have deformed children. Like people over 55, or those with "bad genes". So it this is to be the basis for the argument against incest, we should expand the laws to cover eugenics (?). If you are against this, then you can not use defects as the only argument against incest.
The only thing you can claim then is: morally wrong (according to own ethics). This you can always claim (in any situation or in any matter). This is no doubt the reason it is illegal. We can see this, especially nationally, in difference between rural and urban areas. Although it is legal in Norway to marry a cousin, it usually only happens in very rural regions that would otherwise die out. here it is not considered a "bad thing".
I do not know how many countries have laws against marrying cousins globally, or if any country opens for even closer family marriages.

No, incest should not be allowed, I have no moral reasons, if that was all I wouldn't care, its there lives, BUT, I'm thinking about little Timmy who is going to be horribly disfigured because his gene's were to close to one another, not only that he has a less chance of surviving, and we people need to expand the gene pool as much as possible, the only reason I'm against incest is genetics.

If you have bad gene's theres nothing you can do about it, or if your old, now you can do something about screwing your sister, its not a fair comparison, and if you were born retarded for a reason that could of been easily avoided I think you would agree.

I'd rather have children of a brother and a sister, then have such bad genes passed on forever. The guy (in my sideline) uses a trolley and sticks to get around, and you only focus on the POSSIBLE deformity with legalizing incest. That just seems silly to me.

hildren being disabled after an sibling or family members have sex, this is'nt true the defigurement or disablement of the child is only likely o happen if there was a lage chain of this going on (child s born has sex with family member, new child born has sex with amily member and so on).
