the vids problem is due to the high frequentation of the site, there is now everyday much peopele who come here.

^ not exactly.
@ Mirozel & others: the "click to play" is actually what you see when you finish watching a video, which is the "end" so to speak. Can you try and see if the buffering stops at the same point? Because if it does, it's probably something wrong in the video. If it stops at random points, it's a connection error.
It may have something to do with the update of the servers. I'm not to sure, but the updates should have been completed by now. I'll try and ask shinji for any updates. Sorry for the inconveniences caused.

I also seem to be having the same problem as Mirozel and the others. I noticed it Started happening yesterday when I started watching Higurashi No Naku koro ni Kai ep 9. For me it would happen when I was watching it on High Quality. It went about half way through the anime and Just stopped. But since they uploaded a new Version of the Video it seems to be working fin eI was able to watch it all the way. But Unfortuately that wasn't the only time VIdeos just stopped playing for me. I also was Trying to start watching Idolmaster Xenoglossia 20 and it went about a minute in and did the same thing. I saw earlier someone say to try watching it on a Different browser but it still seems to be happening.

I see. That's what you meant. I thought so.
The videos stop at the same relative point, each of them stop a few seconds in. It's a bit different from each other, but each of them (individually) keep stopping at the exact same moment every time, even if I refresh. So I guess it may be the video itself.
(BTW: I'm watching them on normal quality, so that isn't a factor for me.)
And no problem, these things happen. I just wish I'd chosen a better time to start watching. Then I wouldn't be left at the cliffhanger. T_T

No, it stops at random points. The problem is not video-related. It's caused by an over-the-capacity traffic. I just became a member, paid for High Quality viewing, and encountered this? I hope Shinji (or whoever) can check into that quickly.

@brabbit - look out in this thread, there are tons of repetitive answers to this question already.. 
btw, i'm also experiencing these problems too, the flash video sort of "give up" on downloading halfway and then it shows "click to play" on the screen, but yet showing only approx. 1 min into the show.
It looks like shinji is not replying here much, guess he is still busy trying to solve this problem... lets be patient and wait while we let shinji does his work. |

lol all the animes were slow these days Some awalys halfway borken. like load till half way and it says full... I cannot watch any viedo these days

As a paying member, I notice I have the same problems. So it's not vid. related. Shinji works really hard to keep these things up for us. So just do something else for awhile...catch up on same manga....or something. Thanks Shinji for your efforts...I'll check back tomorrow. |
