hmmmm...don't really see what's wrong..if people who use this AZN or other type of talk then let them be... I hardly believe they're trying to degrade them or thier race! I believe they do this for fun for this site, as many people have wild user names. As long as you you have pride in your self and you race/country, then I don't see what the problem is...making a somewhat flaming thread really won't get the point out to the thousands who use AZN GURL or AZN BOI and other type of what you think are degrading nicknames.

Don't get me wrong now.. I like being asian, so I'm proud. It's just taken too far by most people... I mean you can be proud and I won't find it wrong. But the fact some people act like being asian is the best thing in the world and they're somehow the best thing in the world because they're asian... than that's what I'm talking about.

Now not specifically a girl, it's easier to converse with your own race. Maybe he's looking for a good player guy in some half-assed Korean online game to help his ass out.

I think the approach to this thread is wrong. It is perfectly okay to create a thread to discuss and get the opinion of other people about the "AZN" phenomenon but the tone of the thread feels like protest--either there is a desire for the "AZN" thing to stop altogether or maybe a desire that it should be done a certain way--not very clear. In either case, I am against that kind of attitude.

If someone wants to feel that being asian is the best thing in the world, how is that harmful? I'm really curious to know what is wrong about the "AZN" thing because if it is just about the level of pride, that's not exactly a concern, in my view. There are always people who take certain things to an extreme, it is not really something new. Of course, if someone were to claim that the AZN Is giving a bad impression about asians in general, then please step up and explain. Otherwise, if it is just about feeling annoyed of seeing the "AZN" phenomenon, similar to how some people are annoyed about Narutards and the whole "Naruto is the best anime in the world" phenomenon, then there really is no point to this thread after all.

It seems like it is just about sharing that feeling of annoyance with others. When I see a rant thread, I can't help but think about a person who, perhaps, does not have anyone close, to talk to about this kind of thing so it is "shouted out" in the form of a thread for a whole forum to hear. It is just a way of relieving some kind of personal frustration. Evidence of that is what quite a few members are saying about how they do not see anything wrong with the AZN phenomenon.

I personally never got the whole racial pride thing.

Uhh...People don't seem to get why we use "nigga". It's not a term to express black pride, it's just another way to say "dude" or "guy". We don't run around yelling "BLACK POWER!" or "Black Pride!".....

Even though I am asian, I'm the same way too. I never really understand the racial pride thing either. I think that's because I view myself differently. Just because I'm asian, I don't feel I should think, feel, and act a certain way because of my race. I am who I am, that's how I've always viewed myself. However, I do understand that there are people who are concerned about their identity as a group or collective.

Still, in my experience, if someone were to have a problem with me, I don't expect them to bring up the matter of race but my character.

Well, vietnamese don't as a whole get excited, it's mostly the young bloods, and only then it's only seemingly a select few. The Viets at school I know don't talk about their being vietnamese alot...

Not really, the hugely ignorant population of black people make it seem that way. We only really get angry if it's like used completely out of spite. But, it's still better to know them before saying it around them.

Also, the older people still think of it as a racist term, and brainwash their kids with all of this Civil Rights Movement propaganda making it seem like it's the most horrible word anyone can say, when it isn't anymore. Yet, black culture turned it into a slang term....And, made it into like a double-bladed sword. They have no problem with other black people saying it, yet they still see that if any other race says it, it's racism. So, that pretty much explains why most black people get mad when people of other races say it.

Don't deny it, the average asian penis is small, that means if all your dicks are big, you gotta be above average, and if all asians on this forum have fat dicks, then on the other hand there's gotta be people with less than an inch of meat to balance the average equation.
