funimation and gonzo worked together in a few animes like kiddy grade but still i get you'r point and i don't really like bandai either.it seems like only 1 person is working at the funimation channel place couse there are barly any changes to it but gonzo is BIG

In all honest truth, as soon as I saw the headline, I smelled bull. I have seen many good sites go to trash because of this similar thing. As much as I like Gonzo's work, I honestly can't trust this. And I do warn the owner of this website with a big neon sign.
Currently I am taking an Econ class at the local community college here, and these tactics are used to buy out smaller companies they feel threatened by.
By reading the above links I can only say that this is something to be highly wary of.. But at the same time, it may be good. Do tread lightly, very lightly Shinji.
There are many anime out there that we possibly will never get licensed here, and this is threatening that.
I am an avid buyer of anime and manga, and the majority of the time if I watch an anime I like, I buy it. I plan on doing so with Zombie Loan, Angel Feather, amongst many others that I have fallen in love with.
Gonzo and many other companies have been trying to get rid of fansubbing because they are afraid of it, they are afraid that their profits will shrink. Which it isn't to begin with, and with them being such a large company... I find it highly unlikely that they will lose much capital to begin with.
Again I warn, this is a very dangerous situation to play with.
