I wonder where Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are when they are ACTUALLY needed. Stuff like that makes black people less inclined to trust white people

I had a cousin who got his skull bashed in a prison fight with a white supremacist, by a baton that a guard actually gave to him, my cousin died of course, and at his funeral my mom said they had to put some kind of turban on his body's head, to keep it together or something like that

so then, the fact that he was actually in jail means he already was a bad boy
and how bad is he, what did he do to be put in jail?

One question. ?????

If I recall Prison guards are not supposed to hand inmates weapons.

That's just disgusting. But what worries me is that some of you just seem to take this matter-of-factly, but deploring it yes.

I just cannot convey my disgust into words, how can people still be treated like that in this day and age?! Those boys are potentially facing jail for the rest of their lives. Hopefully the boys will be given a fair trial without a biased judge. But my goodness, what are we to do when even the law, that's supposedly the only indiscriminate thing that makes us all equal become your enemy?
and I wish some of these racist bastards would wake up, be it with a punch on the face or a kick up the ass. I should be happy that I've never experienced such racism but knowing other humans are being persecuted for even having a different skin colour disturbs me.
I don't know what's worse- the fact that I could never change anything, or face it- that there is no way we'd ever totally crush racism from society. Nothing short of a revolution could rock their beliefs.

Bleckk, its a darn shame that things are still secretly segregated in places. -_-

But I don't really see a problem with any of the other posts. White guy chases black guy with gun, we automatically think the white guy is a racist. Prison guard gives white guy baton to beat black guy, we think the prison guard and the white guy are racist...maybe they just happened to be black, gosh. -_-

I just don't like jumping to conclusions. I'm sure prison guards allow prisoners to beat up other prisoners all the time, and surely white people chase white people with guns a few times out of the year?

So why does it make a difference when a black guy is suddenly thrown in.

Even if there was a revolution, it still wouldn't stop. People would do it in secret.
That's their way of life and some racist people are taught that way by their parents.

Hate is what started the cycle. So don't hate them, just dislike them.

Agreed even though its hard. reading this did kind of bum me out. This is a situation that should never have gotten out of hand which was due to an indolent school body taking a hands off approach to an issue that can and has been known to cause riots. racism. I'd feel just as bad if it were happening to whites or Caucasians, which ever works for you because in the end these are people who's lives were unjustly altered. Where the heck is Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton's incompetent donkeys when you actually need them?
