I have an anime discussion with my friend earlier. This is what he said in one of our discussion.
"Harem animes won't dissapear because most anime fans are males.One of the dream of a man is to be surrounded by beautiful girls and all of them would do anything just for you.That's why from tenchi muyo,harem animes becomes popular specially on males."
"Haven't you notice? Harem animes have the most fanservice and the main character is indecive. In bishoujo games where harem are popular, you can't see the whole face of almost all main male character to let imagine you are the main character.Harem animes are just for horny and single guys you know."
Well what do you think? Is he is right or wrong?

meh I wouldn't know I don't watch them because they all seem to have the same plots lol. It's like soft core porn cartoon style lol. That's why a lot more guys like it...

its true because it gets me really annoyed to watch indecive male anime guys with a whole lot of girls around them and taking really long to decide who they want like shuffle but tenchi muyo was good

Harem anime's are absolute... good good very good!!!!  but sooner of later you'll get bored watching harem anime's dunno why but i got bored.. maybe because its already too predictable for me , and thats why i respect School days tv because it totally leave me with a shocking memory... well... when you get tired of watching just fill in some reverse harem anime's like ouran high school and the wallpaper ( forgot its japanese title ) but definetly liked that one ... |

agree above u said.......... the main guy is not hory but pervert in the inside (well most anime does, like Love Hina, etc etc..)...
and the faggest anime iv watched was Ouran Club.... which is an opposide-harem... so fukng ghey..!! but im gonna admit its quite hilarious anime thou, just skip every "moe" moments.... xD

haha I love Ouran I think It has been the only harem anime I have watched lol it is the most unique i must say...

most of the creators are men.. that's why there are sooo many harem animes out there... i dislike harem... it portrayed women too desperate...
