Hmm... true it might have been overrated. I think the controversy it stirred up contributed to it's fame ^^ not the actual literature haha!

I just finished Thief of Time by Terry Pratchett. I love the two Terrys (Brooks and Pratchett). I'm currently reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Chart Throb by Ben Elton. Some funny ideas but a bit laboured most of the time. Certainly not one of his best.

Have just started to re-read TP's Small Gods.

The DaVinci Code

And?.................................(please say it sucks)

I read the da vinci code a while back. It wasnt bad but definetly over rated. I dont think Dan Brown is that great of a writer, one of the few cases where i prefered the movie to the book.

I love Da Vinci Code and that made me decide to purchase Dan Brown's e-book.
I have Paulo Coelho 'The Alchemist' here, I’m planning to read this once I have the time.

The Da Vinci Code was great in terms of entertainment value, but horrible in terms of fact. I don't understand why people made such a huge deal of the fact he didn't put 100% fact in there! It was was meant to entertain not inform.

Well, that's because, at first, he said that it was true. Then, he changed his mind and said it wasn't.

The Notebook is very dramatic. If you have cried just watching the movie, you'll gonna cry more if you read the book.
