For school I read Like Water For Chocolate by Laura Esquivel which was an odd, but good book. I wasn't a fan of the ending, not because of the odd occurance (if anyone has read it) but because of the way the relationships turn out. It's more of a femaled geared book meant to be a parody of those cheesy romance novels, but actually winds up bring up some interesting questions such as, which is more important in a marriage, comfort/security/trust or passion?

I read the da vinci code a while back. It wasnt bad but definetly over rated. I dont think Dan Brown is that great of a writer, one of the few cases where i prefered the movie to the book.

The Da Vinci Code was great in terms of entertainment value, but horrible in terms of fact. I don't understand why people made such a huge deal of the fact he didn't put 100% fact in there! It was was meant to entertain not inform.
