Well we still have time and a few people have been talking about this in the other forum on meeting up on the expo... Here are some things we were suggesting...
-A CR banner to meet up with everybody
-time and what place
-cosplaying
-picture takking
-color design of banner....

(any other suggestions you want to add)

share your opinions on what you think about the gathering.

we can do banners as long as they won't be attached to any part of the convention itself. so if we made a square/rectangle out of lightweight pvc pipe and wrapped a cloth banner over it and carried it around, it's fine.

but it can not have any of the ax/spja logos on it for safety reasons. ^-^;;

i wonder if any of the CR moderators/admins are going to be at AX...?

it wouldn't be difficult for them to create a panel and a large fanbase either, since i still remember back in 2003/04 when gaia first started up as a one-mini-vendor kiosk and has now grown to sponsoring AX nightshift dances as well as their own panels and corporate-level displays.

as far as doing silly stuff, i don't mind as long as i'm either in cosplay or am off-shift.

once the staff shirt is on though i'm all-business.

day -2, -1, 0, 1 ~ 4.

and once to twice a month on all months beforehand, excluding trips to college anime clubs and online forum meets.

-edit- times change and vary depending on need, but generally 8am-9pm on all reg. days of con, and break shifts depend on the schedule which hasn't been put up yet.

as long as i know a meeting place at least a day or two in advance, it won't be a problem.

sudden last-minute changes = i can do 'em most of the time, but i get in a bad mood lol.

We could have more...

...if we join almost every anime-based guild with the most people subscribed and start tossing up "will you go to AX?" posts...

Honestly though, since you are the boss, i motion that you send an admin/mod the info. =D

sure. The reason i suggest you definitely notify CR about your plans is because once again, you never know who will take advantage of this, use their logo (copyright infringement) and then possibly kidnap (rape, assault, or prank) some random kid at AX where the message was "this is CR's meet-up. cosplay is behind the corner for the younger kids..."

you get the idea. When organizing a meet, safety is our #1 priority. Financial safety, physical safety, and environmental safety.

lmao. nah we don't need a voice code or anything. just getting together and saying "oh wow you're on CR too? so am i!" is good enough.

I'll be easy to recognize. car in avi = mine, and i'll be the only staffer whose badge has a pic of said car in there as well lol.
