As you can see shinji never says the bandwidth cost are completely eliminated, he merely says they are cut back and lowered unless shinji is willing to pay the cost himself without the aid of donators he is contridicting himself.

u're reading too much into other people's words. it's obvious that he doesn't need donators for himelf thats why the donation site is catered like that. look again. how can we donate if he doesn't let us. the donation page for CR is GONE! Now it's a donation page for anime creators.
maybe he doesn't need it right now as he has that funding, and god knows what else. maybe bill gates like kdramas and gave him 1b, who knows. just accept his words, he is not stupid. if he was this site wouldn't be as successful as it is, much less get funding for it.
I also think he's lying about that p2p bit, at least in my scope of understanding of what p2p is. and I'm guessing it's for the donators benefit so they don't feel cheated. they're both (donators and non donators) pulling off the same servers. and I don't see my upload gauge behaving as it would if I'm downloading a torrent (read: I'm not uploading anything to anyone, which I was expecting when shinji said I would have to download a p2p software).
so I don't think his bandwith bills are any lower, they are likely higher. o well, most people here are stupid kids anyways, so it doesn't really matter.
I think it's time to enable the FULLSCREEN feature for everyone. Might as well. It's a client side thing, doesn't increase server load..
