It's not just the drawing, the plot is quite alot different as well.

Only the first volume is out in english, but you can read it on onemanga as "Blue Dragon Ral Grado"...... does anyone else think that it's becoming more mainstream lately? The begining was amazingly original, but during the pheonix fight...... it was like 4 chapters long! And they had the little speach that somehow made everyone capable of defeating the enemy (Who essentially just said "I don't want to fight you anymore" and ran away).

Well, it is part of Shonen Jump ay, so drawn out battle-fights are to be expected.

Not that we should encourage it.

I know, but the first 7 chapters seemed so perfect. The hero was quirky and the Love interest seemed somewhat believable. I mean come on, a hero who saves the world just to protect boobs, you have to laugh at that. Even when they introduced the White Tiger, he seemed like he might actually be the "Required badass" of the series. But he's just a wimp.

Oh, well the new one comes out on October 17th. (They sure take their sweet time with manga releases). But just wait, it's going to get worse.

By the way, it's only got 29 chapters total. So there's really not much of a redeeming quality to it. And it stole the ending from Kiba.

Is that so?
I'm pretty sure the whole shadow thing is stolen from the seventh tower. (A successful teenage novel series that came out over 5 years ago)
