Walking doesn't damage anything. Nor does the internet. Netta thinks you need to study human anatomy. Maybe you did something to piss someone off and that person dogs you out for it. That's how it works online and offline. |

That's how it works online and offline. Actually, if you studied human anatomy you'd know that "excessive" walking on surfaces such as pavement can in fact cause damage to your joints over time, especially if you have variances in leg length, hip placement etc.. Don't know if you intentionally meant to sound short sighted, but to say that there is no risk of damage from walking outside (you left the most important part out) or surfing the internet is complete crap. And if you can piss someone off and that person dogs you out for it, than there IS a risk of physical or emotional damage, in which case you just proved Lalas point. Noz thinks you need to read things properly before replying. In my opinion the biggest danger about the internet is the amount of highly personal information you might leave lying around, credit card numbers, passwords etc etc.. There's a reason why problems such as identity theft is so wide spread, but to be fair you can get all this by looking through peoples trash. But 9 times out of 10 it's all about common sense, like not believing that flashing ad that says you're visitor number X and that you've won a new Tv or Iphone, and that they just need your personal information so that they can send it to you.. Like my dad almost did.. |

The Idea of the Internet is a great thing, however, humans tend to corrupt and abuse things.

Basically, I think the internet is safe for anyone who has common sense. Correct!!!!! I think it's just dumb when people try to meet from the internet in real life since most of the time, it might not always turn out how you think it will.... I mean, you have to be careful. Yep, I don't get why people do that either. I guess none of them watch the news. |

The internet is safer than your home at least to most users your anonymous (provided you dont inform them of all the necessary information needed to locate you). I also believe we choose our battles and if the internet was dangerous I believe many people would choose to battle HAHA

Well I'm not a teenager. I remember a time before internet and cellphones, when getting a page on your beeper at a club meant getting your rich friend to walk you outside to his car and borrow his car phone or pony up a quarter for a payphone. Gas was $2.00 a gallon, and if you wanted to know what was playing at the show you had to get a paper or call.
People to me also seemed smarter back then, like they actually had to learn stuff instead of "just googling it." It may just be my imagination, but after working retail for 15 years, I don't ever remember a time such as now, when no one even tries to look for something, they see me, and they make a bee line cause they want me to do their shopping for them. No body even wants to read packaging or labels, or the big neon signs with the price and the giant arrow pointing right to it. This sense of "entitlement" seems increasingly pervasive into the attitude of the new generation, it's astonishing. When you can get whatever kind of entertainment you want, anytime you want, any info you want, anywhere... than people seem to think that applies to every other aspect of their lives. So in a sense, the internet is promoting laziness, and is what is turning America into a country of reclusive, mean spirited, fat people, who think everyone else owes them something, and is also the reason this country will crumble. On the other hand, what would we do without Xvideos? |
