As I understand it, from reading Death by Black Hole by Neil desgrass Tyson, and talking with an astronomer from the university of Hawaii, the current consensus seems to be the that universe will keep expanding and eventually get too cold to sustain life.

Well ...I don't really believe Universe is endless....Because i heard of a saying that goes ..." everything has an end ."

But some people believe that universe is endless and universe is not endless....

So i'm asking you guys opinion ...

Yes ?
No ?

And if possible tell me more about universe
.

if everything has an end what's the last diget of pi emmmm there i just poked a hole in your logic

Just because we don't know or has yet to find the repeating decimal of pi does not mean that it doesn't exist. It's the same as people saying that bacteria did not exist just because people couldn't see it before the invention of the microscope.

I believe that the universe is not endless and when the solar systems expand to the brim we are going to have the yo-yo effect that will recreate the nebula, the reverse big bang.

Well, then you are a fucking idiot. Do you even know what a nebula is? What nebula? The principles of the Big Bang don't apply on a macro level so a reverse Big Bang could never happen simply because of the fact that its inventor (you) doesn't know what the fuck it is! Sorry but my pseudo-intellectual bullshit detector is off the charts here.

Hm. I just read a science magazine and someone had found evidence that:

A. Big bang might not have happened.
B. There might be multiple universes and one might have touched ours. (That would explain ghosts. ;D)
Or
C. Something that they haven't figured out yet.

And that is all I know. I would buy another magazine to see if there is anything about the same thing, but I don't have the money at the moment.

I believe that even if there isn't endlessly material stuff like stars and galaxies there is still endlessly something. There can't be an egde or anything, more likely that if you go long enough to west you end up coming back from east.

Contradictory. It can be depending on every point of view. Endless, numbers are endless, not even our imagination could think of a number to be the last, never. That is infinity, and it is the representative of an endless quantity. Therefore, the universe is endless, at least for us, since there is no way to prove that wrong.

Please inform yourself before insulting someone. By nebula I mean the singularity form of the Universe which is sometimes referred to as a nebula. I did not come up with the theory myself nor did I pull it out of my ass. Although it isn't as widely known, it is a theory among some scientists that since the Universe originates from a singularity so that when it reaches a certain finite point it will collapse back into singularity repeating the whole process.

this relates to anime.. how? lols. anyways you will never know.. because there are no HARD evidence that its endless or has an end no one can say for sure.. its all guess

What I want to know is:
If the universe is expanding constantly, what is it expanding into? It has to be taking up some form of "space". I mean, everything takes up space. So if the universe is like a spill of milk on the ground that keeps growing then it's still growing into something. I don't know.. that entire concept makes my head hurt cause it just keeps going around in circles. Their just no logical answer for me unless the universe is shaped like a globe... and it just "expands" into itself over and over again.

This is something we'll probably wont understand for awhile. Much of our oceans are still a mystery to us, so going as far as to understand the universe is pretty far fetched.

I think it's a concept we cannot grasp because it is so large in comparison to us. I don't really know. The arguement from some people is that it's contained. Contained in what? and if it's infinite no one can possibly imagine it. I heard an idea though about infinity. You see as far as lines (in space) go there are two infinite paths. I heard about a theory that really far into infinity the inifinite paths curve to meet eachother. Like a circle.

That would kind of disprove infinity itself. I wonder what that would mean.
If it is true then the numbers (if you go by numbers as a path) would have to be so huge that we humans would never be able to comprehend their existence, before they start to get closer (I hope that makes sense) So what I mean is all the known numbers we have, would be at the closest points on the circle from where zero is (on either end obviously taking negative numbers into account)

Anyway I have no idea if that's true or not but it's an interesting idea I thought I'd throw out here

That would be logic from a point of view, in a cycle-extremist-theory point of view. But negatives are just the representation of the numbers themselves in the inverse sense of themselves. From our logic, there is no limit for numbers because they do exist. Just imagine a number, big, infinitely large as you wish, then add 'one' to it. It is an infinitely big number plus one, now add 'two,' and so on. According to logic, this can go eternally on. Which would make the theory fall apart.

Same goes with the universe. We could go further into space. We can go even further after that, and so on. We will never find an end. Because the distance of stars is also comprehended as numbers. Distance is a number, and numbers are infinite. Using that logic, and that been the only way to prove it, Universe is endless. For us of course.

uhmm, don't really think it's endless...
it's huge and still growing, but not endless...i think...
