Once, over 5,000 years ago, when the gods still walked among us, darkness took over the lands and completely engulfed the world. The gods who lived in the mortal world took upon themselves to defend them. Through the elements of Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Ice, Thunder, Dark, and Light, the gods defeated adn imprisoned the Darkness into the depths of the earth. Now, that Darkness has been unleashed and 8 teens are chosen to defend the Earth. The thing is, can they settle their differences and protect those they love?

weee! luckily this term I was enrolled in a scriptwriting class and this was my midterm project.Pls bear w/ it i had to copy paste it from final draft so its a bit messy, hint: a capitalized name is followed by a dialogue. Hope you enjoy.


SCENE 1 - EXT. CITY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT - AFTERNOON
FADE IN:
Its nearly dusk and the entertainment district is crowded
with people.
Noisy and with heavy traffic only a few notice a cute girl
giving a hard hand to the face to ROY. The girl is pretty mad
having a very red face.
ZOOM IN
MAD CUTE GIRL
Stay away from me you loser!
ROY
(Depressed)
Ouch, that’s gonna’ leave a mark.
Roy an unlucky fifteen year old, plain looking high school
student rubs his cheek intensely as the girl walks away.
Roy turns to his left and sees that his best friend is doing
way better. RENARD REYES(Ren) Roy’s best friend and classmate
is a tall, smart and good looking high school heartthrob. His
trademark is a mole on the lower left corner of his mouth.
Renard just got a girl’s number and from the look on the face
of the girl, she is pretty much head over heels for him.
PAN LEFT
Renard happily walks toward Roy with a big smile on his face,
girl leaves. It is nearly dark but there are more people than
before.
With a quick motion Renard gives a had pat to Roy’s back.
RENARD
Ahahaha dude, well that wasn’t so
bad.
Roy staggers then regains his composure looking ticked off.
ROY
For you maybe. Ass.
RENARD
Of course! It was hilarious
wahahahaha. I’d never miss it.
A short flashback of the event is shown in slow motion. The
hand slowly connecting to Roy’s face then an abrupt cut to.
ROY
(Shivering slightly)
Argh! Don’t make me remember!
(Low tone voice)
How the hell do you do it?! It’s
like, whoa I’m a jedi love me.
Roy samples a hand wave suggesting a jedi using mind trick.
RENARD
(Short of breath due to
excessive laughing)
Ahahaha. Dude that’s what you lack,
comedy, your too stiff.
Roy puts on a deadbeat face, turns around and starts walking.
ROY
Whatever, I give up. That’s it fer’
me today see ya’ tomorrow.
Roy makes a raised hand gesture showing his leaving. Renard
with a big smile on his face chuckles.
RENARD
Yep. See ya’ tomorrow dude.
Camera shot of Roy walking towards the PRT(public rail
transit). Then camera turns back to Renard walking off home.
As he walks by girls turn their heads to get a glimpse of
him. He smiles and pretends he doesn’t see a thing.
CUT TO:
SCENE 2 - EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - NIGHT
Renard walks the sidewalk slowly going home, his path lit by
warm white street lights. It is pretty quiet in this part of
the city.
PAN RIGHT
Sounds of families in their houses may be heard.
CONCERNED MOTHER
Ben! It’s time for dinner its
already dark stop playing.

BEN, small child, 8 years old plays with his soccer ball near
their gate.
BEN
Okaaaaay! I’m coming!
Ben tries to kick the soccer ball up but fails. It hits the
gutter and bounces off to the street.
BEN (CONT'D)
Yikes!
A fast moving vehicle travels towards the ball with Ben not
noticing it. Its headlight is only visible and is moving very
fast.
Renard sees the vehicle and drops his school bag horrified of
what he seeing. He hastily runs toward the boy.
RENARD
Hey! Watch out!
BEN
(Dumbfounded)
Huh?
Camera zooms in and in slow motion Renard jumps to cover the
kid exposing his back to the vehicle.
With a load thud the camera turns to a very quick zoom out to
a birds eye view covering the area of the incident.
CONCERNED MOTHER
Oh my god! Help!
FADE TO BLACK.
INT. ROY’S HOUSE FIRST FLOOR STAIRS
Telephone rings and shortly Roy comes down the stairs and
then picks it up. After a few moments Roy begins to show a
surprised face while on the phone.
Dramatic music plays, and camera zooms in and focuses on
Roy’s mouth angry and shouting.
Roy’s sister Madeline(Mady), a cheerful and attractive woman
in her mid twenties comes down the stairs listens to the
conversation and then holds her chest with a closed fist with
a sad look on her face.
FADE TO BLACK.
3.
SCENE 3 - INT. RENARD’S FUNERAL SERVICE EARLY - AFTERNOON
Two days pass. At Renard’s home many visitors are present,
people wearing black, a sad atmosphere.
Majority of which are from his school and most, girls. Taking
turns saying their farewells as they stop by his coffin they
leave teary eyed and sobbing.
Camera focuses on Roy and Madeline talking to Renard’s
parents. Both look quite sad.
ROY
(In a soft voice)
I’m sorry for your loss sir, ma'am.
But what really happened? He was
just fine before we went home.
Renard’s father explains in detail what happened.
EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - NIGHT
A flashback of past events occur, a slow motion of the BIKE
hitting Renard’s back as he covers the boy.
Because of the great impact the rider is flung several meters
away. He gets up bloodied and holding his right arm which is
broken, and starts toward Renard who is laying down on the
street still covering the boy.
WOUNDED RIDER
Hey kid are you alright?!
RENARD
...
WOUNDED RIDER
Hey KID!
BEN
(Cries loudly)
Uwaaa!
RENARD
...
Ben’s mother rushes to her child and hugs him tightly. She
goes over to Renard to see how he is doing. She rubs his back
trying to wake him up but there is no response.

CONCERNED MOTHER
(Frantic)
Oh, oh, oh no! He’s not breathing!!
Call an ambulance!!
FADE OUT.
INT. RENARD’S FUNERAL SERVICE - AFTERNOON
We come back to the funeral, Renard’s parents looking really
sad now. Roy and Madeline try to comfort the couple.
MR. REYES
The doctor said that he was hit at
a critical spot on the back of his
neck.
MRS. REYES
(Sobbing)
He... he... he...
Renard’s mother starts to cry and then Mr. Reyes hugs her and
comforts her.
Roy goes to the coffin and looks at Renard’s pale motionless
face.
ROY
Geez man. You were just here and
picking up girls the other day. But
now...
CUT TO:
EXT. CEMETERY RENARD’S BURIAL - LATE AFTERNOON
Three days later, people are gathered at the burial the
church traditions are over and Renard’s casket is slowly
lowered into the brown earth.
Relatives are hugging each other. Girls are crying. The
weather looks like it is about to rain. Roy looks up to the
sky, waiting for the rain to wash off the sadness.
Camera focus on dark cloudy sky. Not one drop falls.
FADE TO BLACK.
SUPER: One Year Later

SCENE 4 - EXT. CLEMENTE PRIVATE HIGH SCHOOL - EARLY MORNING
Roy arrives at the school gates. Students pass by, seeing
familiar and new faces Roy thinks to himself.
ROY (V.O.)
(Sighing)
Another new school year.
Roy walks towards the school building and we could hear the
chirping of birds.
INT. CLASSROOM 10B
Half of the students are listening to the teacher while the
other half are busy talking, sleeping or just spacing out.
Its the first day of school and only a hand few are concerned
of studies.
Roy is seated on the left side of the classroom, near the
window. He glances often out into the window to see the field
where the soccer players practice.
MISS MANET their adviser, is a light headed and eccentric
woman. She has a childish behavior and although she is
actually twenty eight years old, she looks like an attractive
college student.
MISS MANET
Now now class. Today’s your lucky
day! In the notion of promoting
quality education, I’m giving you
an assignment on what new things
you learned this summer.
LAID BACK STUDENTS
Awwww. Nooo.
ROWDY STUDENTS
Boooo!
One of the more notorious students flies a paper airplane
right above Miss Manet’s head.
She is surprised and freaked out, because that’s just the way
she is.
MISS MANET
Eeeek! Jesus Christ!

She thinks to herself and is scared out of her wits.
MISS MANET (V.O.) (CONT'D)
Oh my god! Oh my god! What do I
do?? Defiant s-s-students.. What
was in the handbook??
Students stare at her.
MISS MANET (V.O.) (CONT'D)
Oh no! They’re looking at me. Eyes
fixated, piercing through me. Ahh!
Miss Manet in a terrified state holds her body blushing,
panting. There is a sound of heartbeat.
MISS MANET (V.O.) (CONT'D)
Young boys’ blood boiling, the
surge of youth. Ahhhhh! No! They
are wolves! About to pounce on
their prey! Ravaging me! Ughh! Oh
my!
Miss Manet, panicking and sweating, frantically looks from
left to right and then back right to left.
In her vision all male students turn into evil men with dark
intent. Deeply disturbed, she starts to shiver intensely.
MISS MANET (CONT'D)
Mmmmm.. Ahh!
The students hold their laughter and are waiting for their
teacher’s reaction.
Miss Manet snaps, she runs out of the classroom screaming and
crying.
MISS MANET (CONT'D)
Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I’m not that kind
of teacher!
The students break out in laughter and some guys roll down on
the floor laughing like there is no tomorrow.
The bell rings and the students shout then rush out the
classroom. Roy packs his things and is the last to leave the
room. He is still smiling.
7.
INT. SCHOOL CORRIDOR - AFTERNOON
The corridors are filled with students about to go home. Roy
sees girls talking, boys exchanging magazines, couples
cuddling with each other.
Roy is then approached by a girl. CHRISTIE a pretty, big
chested sixteen year old, who is known for being Renard’s
“GIRLFRIEND” jumps and hugs the surprised Roy from the back.
ROY
Oooof!
CHRISTIE
Hiiiii! It’s really awkward seeing
you alone at this time. Usually
your with...
She stops for a moment and then hugs Roy more tightly. Roy
has a hard time breathing but turns red for having felt two
soft lumps pushing his back.
Roy gulps and turns towards Christie as she lets him go from
her death grip.
Like the little drama queen that she is, Christie starts
sobbing and all, feeling down.
Roy gives her a pat on the head. Unaware of her plasticity.
ROY
There, there. I miss him too. But
don’t you think he wouldn’t want to
see us all sad about him being
gone.
Christie shakes her head like a little schoolgirl. Sobbing.
CHRISTIE
No.. I don’t think he would like
that.
She jumps back, fully recovered like nothing happened,
blushes and then blows Roy a kiss.
CHRISTIE (CONT'D)
Aww. You’re such a sweetheart!
Catch you later~!
Christie cheerfully leaves.
8.
Roy looks around and sees that the students are looking at
them. Girls begin to gossip and boys fire up with jealousy.
GOSSIP GIRL 1
Did you see that? The nerve!
GOSSIP GIRL 2
Just after his best friend died...
Roy hears them whisper but shrugs the false accusations. He
heads to the gate of the school and starts off to home.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 5 - EXT. ROY’S HOUSE YARD - AFTERNOON
A faint sound of cars is heard from the highway across the
neighborhood but as each step Roy takes, the noise is replace
by cheerful laughter of children playing.
He then sees his house, and his sister Madeline watering the
garden.
ROY
(Sarcastic)
Hello. Don’t you have an easy life.
MADELINE
Ahaha. Ara? Something bothering you
today?
Roy doesn’t reply.
ROY
Got any cake from the store? I’m
starving.
MADELINE
Yep. It’s just in the fridge. Go
help yourself.
With a dastardly look Roy rushes to the house hoping to savor
some tasty pastry.
Camera shows a fixed frontal shot of the house and then a
fast forward of the afternoon turning late evening
transition.
CUT TO:
9.
INT. ROY’S HOUSE LIVING ROOM
Roy is watching TV while in the kitchen his sister is busy
washing the dishes.
He yawns and looks at the clock. It shows that it is nearly
eleven PM. He stands up turns off the loud TV. The sound of
the clock is heard.
MADELINE
Up to bed are we?
ROY
(Sarcastic)
Uh-huh. I can’t wait for tomorrow!
MADELINE
Ara??
Roy goes up the stairs and enters his room.
INT. ROY’S ROOM
Camera focuses on the room and the sound of the shower is
heard. It stops and then Roy comes out of the bathroom
changed with a towel on his head.
He sits on his bed and fiddles with the alarm clock. He sets
it to 6:30 AM with the camera focusing on the clock and his
hands.
He then turns of the lamp and then darkness engulfs the room.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN:
EXT. CITY NEARLY - MIDNIGHT
Camera shows a birds eye view of Roy’s house and the city. As
it zooms in the highway is still filled with cars and the
city lights shine brightly.
CUT TO:
10.
INT. ROY’S HOUSE LIVING ROOM
Camera zooms into the clock. Tick tock, tick tock. It is
nearly midnight. Roy is sleeping soundly upstairs.
CUT TO:
EXT. ROY’S HOUSE FROM A DISTANCE - MIDNIGHT
A CLOAKED FIGURE stands on a post overlooking Roy’s house.
The cloaked figure opens a rolled piece of parchment.
It contains nothing but after a while it starts to glow and
then little by little strange letters appear.
He then chants words that cannot be understood and then
tattoos appear and glow on his neck, arms and hands.
Camera zooms in showing only the lower part of the face. He
smiles.
CUT TO:
INT. ROY’S HOUSE LIVING ROOM
Dong! Sound echoes. The clock strikes twelve.
CUT TO:
EXT. ROY’S HOUSE FROM A DISTANCE - MIDNIGHT
There is a bright white flash from windows of the house and
then everything turns dark.
After a few seconds the lamp post flickers and goes back on
and the hooded figure is gone.
FADE TO:
SCENE 6 - INT. ROY’S ROOM - MORNING
The alarm rings loudly and Roy’s gives it a hard smack to
shut it off. The sunlight enters his room from the window
blinds.

The sunlight hitting him, Roy wipes his eyes, stretches and
lets out a yawn. He rolls over to the left side of the bed
and he then stops midway.
Camera quickly zooms in to Roy’s face which looks very
surprised. Camera switches to Roy’s view and in front of him
is a gorgeous UNKNOWN GIRL sleeping.
Roy wide eyed jumps out of bed near the window.
ROY
Whoah! What the?!
UNKNOWN GIRL
Hmmmmmm...
The girl is still half asleep. She slowly sits up on the bed
wiping her eyes. Blanket slips off.
Roy sees her hot body. She is wearing some of his sleeping
attire, sando and boxers. Camera focuses on her legs and then
pans up to her face.
She drops to the bed again, falling asleep in an awkward
position.
Roy turns into a tomato, thinking.
ROY (V.O.)
Oh my god! Who the hell is she?!
Why the hell is she here?! Oh crap
sis is gonna kill me!
He looks at the girl. And in all his wisdom he says.
ROY (V.O.) (CONT'D)
I know! Better throw her out of the
window.
He goes on the bed and then tries weird moves experimenting
on how to carry her.
But as he tries, he sees her face close up. Blood rushes to
his face and head and like a magnet Roy can’t help himself
slowly going trying to kiss her.
ROY (V.O.) (CONT'D)
She smells so good.
Heart pounding Roy is almost there, but then as they were
just inches apart the girl flinches.

Roy surprised, falls down the bed hitting his back on the
wall and shouts.
ROY (CONT'D)
Holy shit!!
Roy’s screaming woke the girl up. She looks around the room
and then sees Roy.
With her eyes fixated on him she stands on the bed, jumps
down and then slowly walks toward Roy.
Roy shaking, confused, turned on and terrified in amazement
of what he found in his room, now looks around trying to find
an escape.
He sees the window and tries to jump out, but the girl
quickly grabs him by the collar and pulls his face close to
hers.
He and she gets a good close look at each other. Roy blushing
intensely, sweating, while the girl looking confused and
amazed.
She says calmly.
UNKNOWN GIRL
Dude...
ROY
Eh?! Dude?!
Her look of confusion changes into a big warm smile. Brimming
with happiness she starts shouting.
UNKNOWN GIRL
Oh my god it is you! Holy shit!
Hahahaha!
Perplexed, Roy is frozen.
The girl looks at her hands and then open and closes them
alternately. She starts laughing and then grabs Roy’s shirt
and shakes the life out of him.
UNKNOWN GIRL (CONT'D)
It’s real, it’s real! I’m real!
ROY
(Being shaken)
Wha.. Wha.. What the hell is real?!

The girl let him go and then he falls on the floor butt
first.
UNKNOWN GIRL
You idiot! Don’t you recognize me?!
ROY
Who the hell are you and how the
frickin’ hell did you get into my
room?!
She gives him a slap on the head.
ROY (CONT'D)
Ow! What’s wrong with you?!
UNKNOWN GIRL
Ahahahahaha! It’s me you butt head!
RENARD!!!
Roy drops his jaw in amazement. He points at her.
ROY
(Scared)
Y..y..you are not Rennard!! Renards
dead!!
She rolls her eyes.
RENARD
(Sarcastic)
So I’ve heard.
She grabs his shirt again then drags him up and stares at him
face to face.
RENARD (CONT'D)
You think I’m lying?!
Roy notices a very peculiar thing on her face. Just below her
lips, on the lower left corner, a mole.
Half doubtful Roy says.
ROY
B..b..besides, Renard isn’t a...
Suddenly Roy’s door bangs open. His sister still half asleep
with grubby morning hair looks mad as hell.
MADELINE
What is all this racket so early in
the morning?!

Startled, Roy and Renard trip and fall over having Renard on
the bottom and Roy on top with the classic position of Roy’s
left hand next to her head and his other hand on her chest.
ROY
Ow ow ow!
With a slow reaction Roy realizes the predicament he is in.
He blushes intensely while involuntarily giving a few short
squeezes on you know what.
RENARD
Ah!
Renard, feeling kind of good, looks confused and weird. She
then stares at her chest with Roy groping a handful.
RENARD (CONT'D)
Ehhhhhhhhh?!
Madeline sees the two on the floor and gets the wrong idea.
She is burning with anger.
MADELINE
Ohohoho! So this is why you were
excited about today!
ROY
Huh?! Oh shi!
Roy hastily gets off of Renard.
ROY (CONT'D)
(Terrified)
N..no! Y..y..you’ve got it wrong
sis!
Madeline is now slowly walking toward Roy.
Renard is still on the floor staring at her chest, shocked
and surprised of what she now has.
She then checks her downstairs, the camera focusing only on
her upper body while she reaches down.
She then makes an agonizing face. Tears start to well up her
eyes.
She quickly stands up then cries.
RENARD
Uwaaaa! Nooooo!

Roy and Madeline stare at her while in debate and confusion.
Renard pulls her boxers away from her and looks again and
again.
RENARD (CONT'D)
Uwaaaa!
She then runs out of the room and into the bathroom. The
sound of the slamming door is heard.
MADELINE
Ohohoho. Looks like you were real
busy last night!
ROY
No! No! This isn’t what it seems!
Honest!
Madeline grabs a folder on Roy’s desk rolls it and starts
smacking him with it.
ROY (CONT'D)
Ow ow ow!! Sis!!
MADELINE
You little bastard! Right in my own
house!
ROY
Th..this is my house too you know!
She stops hitting him for a while but resumes with more
force.
ROY (CONT'D)
(Gasping)
Eeeep!
Roy cowers and shields himself with his arms.
MADELINE
Your house?! Do you think that you
living here makes it also your
house?! Grrrr! And who the heck is
that bimbo?!
ROY
I..its not what you think sis!
T..t..that’s Renard!
Madeline stops again.

MADELINE
Renard?!
She resumes hitting him with a flurry of five hit combos.
MADELINE (CONT'D)
What kind of lame excuse is that?!
You’ll even bring him as an excuse
even when he’s already gone! The
nerve!
ROY
Renard help!!!
CUT TO:
INT. ROY’S HOUSE SECOND FLOOR BATHROOM
Renard is sitting on the toilet sobbing.
RENARD (V.O.)
I..I’m alive. How? But why in this
body?
She gets a hold of herself. Stands up and looks at the
mirror.
She then opens the faucet splashes water on the mirror making
her reflection a bit fuzzy then wipes it with her hand.
Her reflection doesn’t change.
RENARD (V.O.) (CONT'D)
This is how it is...
She lowers her head for a while and then turns around and
opens the door.
CUT TO:
INT. ROY’S ROOM
Renard enters and sees that Roy is being smacked around.
RENARD
Miss Madeline...
Roy and his sister see her. Madeline stops and turns toward
Renard.

MADELINE
And You! Girls these days are
getting quite bold! You’ve got
quite the balls coming here!
RENARD
No. Not anymore, Miss Mady. Stop
hitting Roy. It isn’t his fault.
ROY
You see!
Madeline points at Roy using the rolled folder.
MADELINE
Shut up!
She walks towards Renard puffy faced and angry.
RENARD
It’s me, Mady. It’s Renard.
Madeline looks at Renard face to face. Stares at her eyes
then looking at her every aspect.
Finally she notices the one thing that would convince her
that what Renard says is true, she sees that Renard’s mole is
exactly where it should be.
Amazed, she slowly says.
MADELINE
Oh my god!
Roy stands up bends a little forward.
ROY
My god what?!
MADELINE
She IS Renard!
ROY
Really?!
MADELINE
You dope! All that talk and you
mean that you didn’t believe her?!
ROY
Duh! This is REALLY hard to BELIEVE
you know!

RENARD
(Sighing)
Hehehe. I don’t believe it myself.
Madeline is back to her kind, cheerful self again. She goes
up and hugs Renard with tears in her eyes.
MADELINE
Oh my god, dear! You’re alive!
Renard can’t help but cry in a happy way.
Madeline lets her go as she wipes the tears of her eyes.
RENARD
(Sobbing)
Yeah! And in perfect condition too!
Renard lifts her shirt up exposing her well endowed you know
what.
Roy gasps at the sight.
ROY
Wh..who..wha?!
MADELINE
Ah!
Madeline faints and hits the floor with a loud thud. Renard
starts to panic.
RENARD
What happened?!
Roy doesn’t reply and is still at awe of what he just saw.
RENARD (CONT'D)
Roy!
ROY
Huh?! Oh, right! She’ll be okay,
she’s kind of sensitive to those
things. Here, help me carry her to
her room.
They both pick her up and start to carry her to the room.
CUT TO:
19.
INT. ROY’S HOUSE SECOND FLOOR HALLWAY
RENARD
Wow, I didn’t imagine she was this
light.
ROY
Are you kidding?! She’s a walrus!
RENARD
That’s mean. She isn’t that heavy.
Let go.
Roy lets go but Renard easily carries her without help.
RENARD (CONT'D)
See.
ROY (V.O.)
That’s weird, even I have a hard
time carrying her alone. Well,
whatever.
CUT TO:
SCENE 7 - INT. MADELINE’S ROOM
Renard carries Madeline on her back, they go over the bed and
lay her down. Roy grabs a seat and sits beside the bed.
Renard sit on the bed fanning Madeline giving her some air.
They stay silent for a while, waiting for Madeline to wake
up.
ROY
(Shyly)
Um...
RENARD
Hmm? What is it?
The morning sun that peeks through the blinds create a some
what shimmering vision of the gorgeous girl in front of him.
Roy is left speechless in a rather weird feeling.
RENARD (CONT'D)
Huh?
She fingers her hair behind her ear with the sparkling sun
playing on her face. What a sight.

Roy shrugs it off and gives a big gulp.
ROY
Ah... Eh... W..why are u back?
RENARD
(In doubt)
I... Don’t know.
They pause for a while trying to think.
RENARD (CONT'D)
All I remember is that after I
jumped for the kid, everything
turned black. And after a while, I
heard a sound of a clock ringing
and then somebody shouting wake up.
ROY
Hmm. For you to be back here...
RENARD
Was the kid alright? Did he also...
ROY
Yeah. He’s perfectly fine, you took
all the force of the impact.
RENARD
That’s good to hear. I didn’t think

Renard moves closer and Roy sits stiffly, his heart pounding.
She whispers to his ear.
RENARD (CONT'D)
Dumbass.
Renard laughs hysterically.
RENARD (CONT'D)
Hahahahaha! The look on your face!
ROY
Y..y..you son of a! Turn back into
a guy so I can beat the crap out of
you!
(Whispering to himself)
I can’t believe I tried to k...
RENARD
Tried to what?
Madeline wakes up.
MADELINE
Mmm. Ara? You two seem to be having
fun.
ROY
W..whatever...
RENARD
Oh. You’re up.
Madeline looks like a different person having lost all trace
of hatred and destruction. Renard looks at her disturbed.
MADELINE
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself, it
was just too... Ara... Ahaha.
Renard leans toward Roy and asks softly.
RENARD
(Whispering)
What happened to her? A while ago
she was like “mama-san” roar.
ROY
(Whispering)
That’s what happens when you wake
her up while she’s still sleeping.

Madeline slowly sits up grabs her headband from her side
table and fixes her hair.
MADELINE
So, Ren dear, what do you plan on
doing now that you’re alive?
RENARD

Camera zooms out from the door of the room into the hallway.
They are still talking inside the room as the camera focuses
on the wall clock. It ticks to seven o’clock and chimes.
FADE TO BLACK.
SCENE 8 - EXT. ROY’S HOUSE FRONT DOOR - TWO DAYS LATER -
EARLY MORNING
Its early morning, the paper boy is up and doing his daily
rounds delivering the newspaper. He throws one at Roy’s
house.
Camera gets a shot of freshly cut garden grass, the newspaper
flops on top and Roy picks it up. He looks at his watch, its
nearly seven.
ROY
(Shouting)
Hurry up or we’re gonna be late!
MADELINE
Just wait! Ah here she is.
Roy hands over the newspaper to Mady and sees Renard walking
out the front door.
Roy is stunned, Renard is wearing their school’s uniform. A
checkered skirt, and vest over a white polo with the coat of
arms of the school.
Roy stares at Ren’s short skirt flaunting her long legs.
She’s quite tall as a girl, only a few centimeters short of
Roy.
Ren notices Roy staring.

Hmmmm. Don’t get too comfortable,
you know I plan on turning back to
a guy.
Roy remembers and then shivers.
ROY
(Disgusted)
Blech!
MADELINE
Okay! Since our dear Renard here
has turned into a girl...
Roy shivers, goosebumps.
MADELINE (CONT'D)
We will now call her REN, It’d be
very awkward to call someone this
pretty by a boys name.
Ren gives a cheering action.
REN
Yeah~!
ROY
(Sarcastic)
Well that’s convenient.
Ren cuddles Roy’s arm rubbing her chest playfully.
Putting on puffy lips she says.
REN
You don’t like it?
Roy scampers away from her.
ROY
Wh..wha!
Mady puts her hands on her waist.
MADELINE
Tsk tsk. Bad girl. What have I told
you about acting like proper lady?
REN
Okay.

Ren grabs Roy as she runs away.

SCENE 9 - EXT. CITY SIDEWALK TOWARDS SCHOOL - EARLY MORNING
Roy and Ren stop, they are gasping for air having run for a
few minutes.
Roy leans on a wall while Ren holds her chest having a hard
time breathing.
REN
(Out of breath)
Hahaha, I thought she was gonna go
berserk.
ROY
(Out of breath)
Haaaa.
Some students walk by them and stare. They whisper to each
other.
MALE STUDENT 1
(Whispering)
Hey isn’t that the friend of the
one who died.

The students hurry to school with excited looks on their
faces.
Roy looks at Ren and shrugs. He says to himself.

EXT. CLEMENTE PRIVATE HIGH SCHOOL FRONT GATE - EARLY MORNING
Many students are going in, some are sitting on the benches
talking, others are playing.
The two students from earlier hurriedly go to their friends
who are playing soccer.
MALE STUDENT 2
Guys! There’s a new student.
SOCCER PLAYING STUDENT
Yeah yeah, what is it this time?
MALE STUDENT 1
It’s a girl! And she’s drop dead
gorgeous!
SOCCER PLAYING STUDENT 2
No kidding?!
MALE STUDENT 1
There, there she is!
As Roy and Ren walk past the gates they are met with
countless stares of students. Some who are looking out the
windows wanting to see the new student and the others who are
outside already mesmerized by Ren’s beauty.
STUDENTS
Whoa!

Both male and female students are in awe as they see her and
they begin to gossip and chatter with Ren and Roy at the
center of attention.
As they slowly walk toward the school building, already Ren
is being hit on by a group of delinquent students.
DELINQUENT
Hey babe, why don’t you ditch the
doofus come have some fun with us.
ROY
Back off bro!
DELINQUENT
Oh is this your boyfriend?! This
shrimp?!
The delinquent then grabs Ren’s hand.
The other students only watch in agony for they are too
terrified to go against the group.
DELINQUENT (CONT'D)
Mmm, so smooth.
Roy lunges in but is stopped by Ren. She turns to the student
and smiles.
DELINQUENT (CONT'D)
Haha! Yeah! Party time bo...
Just before he was able to finish, Ren sends him flying
backwards with a kick to the stomach. He is flat on the floor
and doesn’t get up. His friends go to him and try to wake him
up but he is out cold.
DELINQUENT 2
Why you little bitch!
The student tries to go after her but is held back by one of
his friends.
The school’s discipline officer comes down the hallway to see
what the ruckus was about.
The delinquents carry their friend and go out to the gate.
DELINQUENT 2 (CONT'D)
You better be careful girl! We’ll
remember this!

As they leave the school grounds the other students cheer and
go toward Ren.
The DO(Discipline officer) breaks it up.

Come one move along, classes are
about to start.
CUT TO:
SCENE 10 - INT. CLASSROOM 10B
Roy is at his seat and Ren is sitting behind him. The class
stares at them wondering how he came to know her.
Students from the other classrooms come and peek inside 10B
wanting to see Ren.
Miss Manet goes in the classroom holding a letter aside from
the usual things she has.
She places her things on the teacher’s desk.
MISS MANET
Um. Good morning class. It seems
that today we have a new student.
She looks at the door seeing students peeking inside.
MISS MANET (CONT'D)
Ehem!
The students close the door and go back to their classrooms.
MISS MANET (CONT'D)
Why don’t you come to the front and
introduce yourself.
Ren stands up and slowly walks to the front of the class.
REN
(Shyly)
Hi my name is Rena...
Roy gives her a look.
REN (CONT'D)
Err.. Ren. Nice to meet you. I look
forward to a fun school year with
you all.

Wow her name is Ren. Ren!
The boys in the class cheer and some of the girls as well,
while some girls sit silently seeming irritated and jealous
of her.
MISS MANET
Quiet class! Miss Ren you can sit
behind Mister Roy.
Ren goes back to her seat, the eyes of the boys in class
glued on her.
MISS MANET (CONT'D)
(Whispers to herself)
Oh my what an attractive young
girl. Ah! So... Mmmm!
Miss Manet starts to wiggle but regains her composure and
starts her class discussion.
Ren sits behind Roy and the boys look at him with envy and
hostility.
Roy gulps. Ren notices and whispers to his ear.
REN
(Whispering)
They’re jealous of you! Lucky dog!
ROY
(Whispering)
Quiet you dummy!
Some of the student see them and gasp and talk to each other.
MALE STUDENT 3
(Whispering)
He’s dead meat!
Roy sighs. Ren giggles.
Miss Manet continues her discussion on world literature
unaware of what is happening.

SCENE 11 - EXT. CITY SIDEWALK TOWARDS ROY’S HOUSE - LATE
AFTERNOON
Ren and Roy are walking home from school. Roy looks exhausted
from the recent events.
ROY
I can’t keep this up everyday.
REN
Hahahaha, that’s what you get for
being so popular.
ROY
Me popular? It’s you who is
popular.
REN
Tsk. Tsk. You’re so slow.
ROY
Huh?!
As they pass by a big tree they notice someone on top of one
of its big branches.
A cloaked man sitting waves at them.
CLOAKED MAN
Having fun Renard?
Roy and Ren surprised and stunned take a step back.
REN
Wh..who are you?! How do you know
who I am?!
CLOAKED MAN
(Sneering)
Come on. You know me...
Ren can’t help but look nostalgic.
ROY
(Worried)
Who is he Ren?!
REN
I..I don’t know! I can’t remember!
Ren holds her head and cowers.

The hooded figure floats down from the tree and Roy stares at
him amazed. Roy then looks around, there are no people, no
cars, no noise, nothing. The city becomes empty. In the
silence he starts to tremble.
The cloaked man starts walking toward Ren.
REN (CONT'D)
(Terrified)
S..s..stay back!
He then whispers something to her.
Roy with all his courage suddenly charges towards him.
ROY
Get away from her!
As Roy’s fist nearly connects, the man turns into jet black
smoke and disappears. Roy outbalanced tumbles into the
sidewalk.
CLOAKED MAN
(Faint echoing)
Just say my name...
Ren terrified starts to run Roy hastily gets up and goes
after her.
FADE TO:
EXT. ROY’S HOUSE YARD - DUSK
Tired and out of breath Ren falls on the grass. Roy follows
her and kneels in front. Wheezing he says.
ROY
What’s wrong?! Who was that guy?!
REN
I don’t know! Leave me alone!
Please!
Ren runs into the house and to the second floor. Roy follows
but stops at the door and looks behind him. He pauses for a
moment looking around.
He can now faintly hear the sound of traffic from far away,
he sees the neighbors walk by and children playing.
Terrified he says to himself.

What was that thing?
He goes in the house and closes the door.
CUT TO:
BLACK
SCENE 12 - EXT. AN ALLEY IN THE CITY - THREE DAYS LATER -
LATE EVENING
A hazy vision of a woman running. She is terrified and
gasping for air. As she runs camera switches to blurry then
focused with occasionally fast forward shots.
The woman shrieks in terror. Crying as she turns over the
garbage bins while running through the narrow alley ways.
A short white flash and back again to the chase. It’s the end
of the line as the woman pounds the wall of a dead end.
Wheezing, sweaty, and terrified she looks at the camera
crying.
Vision begins to blur as the woman shields herself.
Everything turns black and then grotesque sounds of
splattering are heard.
The woman screams and turns into a coughing gargle.
CUT TO:
INT. ROY’S ROOM - EARLY MORNING
Ren wakes up with a deep gasp for air. She is all sweaty and
panting. She clenches her fist on her chest and looks around
the room.
She sees Roy still sleeping on the floor on a mattress.
She sighs, gets out of bed and is shocked seeing a small
bloodstain on the sheets.
She quickly runs toward Mady’s room and doesn’t notice
stepping on Roy’s arm.
Roy screams in pain.
CUT TO:

INT. MADELINE’S ROOM
Ren enters the room terrified, not for waking Madeline up,
but for the blood she saw on Roy’s bed. She shakes Madeline
vigorously.
Madeline wakes up with a deathly stare. Ren takes one step
back shocked.
REN
(Terrified)
I.. Er.. Um.. W..when I woke up
there was blood on bed, s..so I..
MADELINE
Hmm.. Ara? There was blood? Let me
see.
Her scary aura was gone as she stood up and went into Roy’s
room.
Roy rubs his arm as he stands in the doorway.
ROY
That hurt you know.
Ren stays silent sitting on the bed.
Madeline comes back with a calm look on her face. She giggles
with her hand on her mouth. She then sits beside Ren.
Ren looks at her with confusion and anxiety.
MADELINE
Ohoho. Don’t worry dear, this is
just normal.
REN
N..normal?
MADELINE
Well you know, a girl at that age
already starts to have the you-knowwhat...
REN
You-know-what??
Madeline whispers to Ren. Ren begins to look embarassed.
REN (CONT'D)
O..oh! I see! Ehehehe...

Madeline opens her desk grabs something and hands the napkin
to Ren.
Ren looks at the thing with awkwardness and then she and Mady
stare at Roy.
Roy still half asleep and scratching his head leans on the
doorway innocently.
Madeline stands up and struts toward the door.
MADELINE
(Angry)
This is a private conversation! Get
out!
Madeline slams the door.
ROY
(Dumbfounded)
Geez. What’s wrong with them?
FADE TO:
SCENE 13 - CITY SLUMS - ONE DAY LATER - LATE EVENING
It’s the same dream but now instead of a woman, its now a
young man. A chase then a kill, confusion, excitement, death.
The same thing but with much more intensity. Darkness.
INT. ROY’S ROOM - EARLY MORNING
Ren wakes up with a deep gasp for air. She is all sweaty and
panting. She clenches her fist on her chest and looks around
the room and is horrified of what she sees.
The door is open, with blood smeared across it towards the
doorknob. The floor has blood on it as well as the walls with
hand marks made from blood. A grotesque scene.
Ren looks at herself, she is bathed in sticky red blood, her
hands, her clothes, her hair. With confusion and disgust she
is about to throw up.
She stumbles out of bed onto the floor, she sees Roy and
covers her mouth, tears.
Roy is covered in blood. Maybe his blood.

Ren loudly shrieks, screams!
CUT TO:
INT. MADELINE’S ROOM
Mady opens her eyes from hearing the scream. Furious and
still sleepy she swiftly stands up opens the door.
MADELINE
(Mumbling)
Not again!
CUT TO:
INT. ROY’S ROOM
Roy wakes up as Ren screams loudly and runs out of the room.
He looks at his mattress which is now bloody red, he stands
up quickly, terrified and speechless.
He glances from left to right seeing the all carnage and the
looks at his bed. It is soaking wet.
Roy staggers backward, slips and falls on the thick sticky
blood. He sits upright motionless and at a loss for words.
INT. ROY’S HOUSE SECOND FLOOR HALLWAY
Madeline struts towards Roy’s room and notices red footprints
going to the bathroom. She sees the blood on the door and she
now feels that something is really wrong.
CUT TO:
INT. ROY’S BLOODIED ROOM
As Madeline pushes the door open she gets a glimpse of the
horrific scene. A blood bath.
MADELINE
(Faintly)
O..o..oh m..my god!
She sees the bloodied Roy on the floor shaking. She faints
and hits the floor with a loud thud.
CUT TO:
35.
INT. ROY’S HOUSE SECOND FLOOR BATHROOM
Ren runs inside, slams the door, she cant hold it so she
vomits and blood splatters on the floor and the rest in the
toilet.
She appalled at the sight of blood flowing out of her but
can’t help continuing to let it all out of her.
The toilet bowl in nearly filled and she transfers to the
sink. Sick, and breathing heavily she looks up to the mirror.
An image of the dead young man flashes for a second and Ren
startled stumbles backwards.
She quickly stands up and rushes out of the bathroom.
CUT TO:
INT. ROY’S BLOODIED ROOM
Ren suddenly enters the room and wipes some blood of her
mouth. She sees the Roy is alive and tending to his sister.
A feeling of relief goes over her. Her legs weaken and she
falls on her knees, trembling and exhausted.
She starts to cry.
REN
(Crying)
W..w..what’s happening to me?!
Roy looks at her in horror and awe and doesn’t say a thing.
Ren tries to come closer but as she moves Roy, holding his
sister, backs away.
Ren covers her face and cries. Then she remembers something.
REN (CONT'D)
V..Vizanthus!
All of a sudden the early morning light is replaced by a
cloudy darkness. The ambience fades away leaving only
silence. A black spot slowly bubbles on the floor.
It starts to turn cold, steam comes out from their every
breath.

A strong wind revolves around the room as black smoke
follows.
It slowly begins to mold into an object. It melts as it forms
into a figure.
It is the man cloaked in a black robe.
He stands silently and then raises his head looking towards
Ren.
VIZANTHUS
(Slowly)
You summoned?
Ren and Roy shaking and stunned could only gawk at the
mysterious man.
Vizanthus looks around.
VIZANTHUS (CONT'D)
You sure are sloppy. Miss Ren.
He swipes his finger on the wall picking up a lot of sticky
blood.
VIZANTHUS (CONT'D)
I see that the curse has taken it’s
effect. You are starting to
change...
REN
(Terrified)
Ch..change i..into what?!
He sneers.
VIZANTHUS
Do you think that being reborn
comes without its consequences. You
are what humans call, a vampire.
REN
V..v..vampire?!
Roy is still on the floor holding his sister, he is silent
listening intently.
VIZANTHUS
Having been reborn, your body
looses its ability to produce new
blood cells.

(MORE)
They die out, those must be
replaced. That is why it is
imperative that you must FEED.
Ren shakes herself, unwilling to accept what she has become.
REN
Nooo! Nooo! I.. I can’t do that!
VIZANTHUS
If you are not willing, then you
will be severed from this world.
Ren stops, thinking for a moment. She looks up.
REN
Then I will disappear!
Vizanthus looks worried, but regains his composure. He does
not want them to see.
VIZANTHUS
There is... Another way...
ROY
(Shouting, concerned)
What is it?!
Ren looks at Roy with a feeling of warmth.
ROY (CONT'D)
H..how can you help her?
VIZANTHUS
Follow me.
Vizanthus walks out and starts down to the stairs, Roy and
Ren looking at him, Roy’s sister is still out cold.
ROY
What about my sister?!
VIZANTHUS
Leave her! Haven’t you noticed?
Time has stopped since you have
summoned me. Now, with haste we
must go!
Roy brings his sister to her room and lays her on the bed. He
goes back for Ren who is still cowering in the other room.
He grabs her hand and yanks her up.

VIZANTHUS (CONT'D)
ROY
Come on! Don’t you want to be
saved?!
Ren looks at him with sad eyes, she stands up and follows him
to the front door. They go out into the darkness.
FADE TO BLACK.
SCENE 14 - BENEATH THE RAILWAY BRIDGE - DARK MORNING
Still in their bloody garments they follow Vizanthus into a
bottom of a bridge where it looks like some tunnel. For some
strange reason they can’t see what is on the other side.
Barefooted they feel the grass and weeds beneath their feet.
Ren is not looking so well, wheezing and coughing on the way.
Vizanthus turns around.
VIZANTHUS
Here. It is here where she shall be
saved.
Roy looks confused.
ROY
There’s nothing there!
Vizanthus places his hand on the wall. Runes begin to appear
from the side of the tunnel and after a few seconds they
disappear.
VIZANTHUS
Come! Quickly!
Ren who is now unable to stand on her own is carried by Roy.
They slowly make their way through the tunnel, it is dark and
they can’t see what is on the other side.
Ren begins to cough blood. It splatters on Roy’s back.
ROY
Get a hold of yourself!
VIZANTHUS
That is why I told you to be quick!
She has little time!

Roy starts to run, faster and faster. They are nearly at the
end. And with a bright flash of light they are though.
FADE TO:
SCENE 15 - MYSTERIOUS CITY - MORNING
As they pass through the end of the tunnel they are greeted
with bright sunlight. Vizanthus at their side, they are
amazed of what they see.
It is a whole different city. With old lamp post and
buildings that resemble the old English Renaissance.
People wearing dresses, people wearing coats and top hats,
and carriages moving by themselves.
It is an amazing sight, taverns, inns, boutiques. Flying
airships, zeppelins, it was a mix of old world and modern.
Roy’s jaw falls in amazement.
ROY
Where the hell are we?

And the well is some kind of portal into the a weird world that only Jack can activate. I bet they go on a huge adventure to save this world and all its inhabitance from the evil Palowatter. A story filled with tragedy and betrayal and love and all those things that make stories good.

Okay, here's one that's been kicking around in my head. I haven't worked out all the kinks yet but here's the basic plot. I have borrowed a lot from mythology, especially the creation and ages of man myths.

the history:

So...once upon a time...<clears throat> sorry, that was lame. Anyway there is this utopian world where the gods live in harmony with the people. The people of this land (I haven't come up with a name yet...I suck at naming things) want for nothing, they don't even understand the concept of greed, pain, hunger. To the death is just the next part of their journey so they have no fear of it.

Eventually though, their world begins to change...no one knows how it happened...but it is believe that the people angered the gods somehow. Crops wouldn't yield enough, livestock became diseased...basically their world was rotting from the inside out.

The people begin to panic...the seek council from the heads of the five houses thought to possess the most wisdom. This council of five devised a plan to summon the gods and bend them to their will. Again, the details of the ritual is shrouded in mystery, all that is known is that the council of five traveled to the peak of the highest mountain to commune with the gods and perform their ritual, but they were never heard from again.

*Fast forward 2000 years***

After the ritual went wrong, the restless appeared. It's almost as if the ritual corrupted the very earth, because now the dead will not rest. They rise from their graves looking for anything to satisfy their hunger. Demons and other such nasties also appear wreaking further havok.

The descendants of the original council have all devoted their lives to researching the what's and how's of the ritual in an attempt to remedy their situation. So far none of the new councils have had any luck. Every too hundred years the new council tries again, but so far nothing.

15 years before the real story line starts, there was hope that the new representatives of the council could succeed...but something happened that killed the people's last hope...or so they thought.

One of the most crucial pieces of information that has been discovered is that the Raliss bloodline is the most important. They have the innate ability to destroy the restless...the Raliss line is the key to solving the riddle of the ritual. However, the Raliss bloodline has been disrupted and after a fifteen year search, when most had given up hope...one is found.

Cast of characters:

Sarinna Raliss: Elite Hunter- perhaps the most skilled hunter to come around in the last 1000 years. Many believe that she would be the one to end the curse until she was attacked...
She has few comrads, in fact many are afraid of her. The few who will stand by her call her Rin. Since the incident, she now serves as a sword for the church.

Brandt Maelshinn: Knight- Once betrothed to Sarinna, he is now married to a woman whom he doesn't love, but has given him many children. He teaches them what it means to be a knight, despite the fact that he doesn't really believe in the knighthood any longer. He is tortured by his past which he tries to drown in cheap wine.

Keibah Taery: Monk- A member of the force that Rin leads, he is perhaps the closest thing to a friend that she has. He doesn't really come across as a monk, he's a little to quirky. He's always looking for the party, but know how to be serious when the time calls for it. Rin enjoys his company (well as much as she can enjoy anything) mostly because she knows that if she ever loses control...he's probably the only one who can bring her back...or defeat her. The order of monks that Keibah belongs to believes in taking an animal spirit as a way of communing with nature. Keibah has the spirit of a wolf within him.

Cho Welbirn: Priest- skilled at purification rituals, which is the only way to ensure that the vanquished restless won't rise again. Like everyone else in his family, he's too serious for his own good. The only one who can break his concentration is his younger sister Rhysa. Rhysa has far too much energy and it takes all his patience to keep her in line.

Rhysa Welbirn: Priestess?- raised as a priest but she has the uncanny ability to sense the restless. She doesn't know that she is actually adopted. She is often shy around new people, and is quite unsure of her abilities as a priest. However, when she is around Cho, she becomes a force to be reckoned with. He gives her the courage to do what he knows she can.

Paloma Thynbril: Scholar- she's more at ease with characters in books than actual people. Most would find her to be more of a liability than an asset to an adventuring party, but she's the only person in the last 1000 years to decipher some of the ancient texts of the original council. She sort of understands what they were going to do for the ritual...but one crucial piece of information seems to be missing. Aside from being a genius...she also has the gift of precognition.

I wrote out the prologue to the story that tells about what happened to Rin and I'll post it if anyone is interested.

Final Life

I see stars... billions upon billions...of stars they flicker in and out, a constant fast motion that my eyes can barely follow. Than I see a red streak beginning to spread rapidly from one star to the next. constantly, burning up its energy... absorbing it into itself. I began to develop a deep sadness within the root of my heart and mind. its as if I'm seeing the universe slowly, but surely collapse into the void it has created; but, suddenly a bright light appears it blinds me for a second. as the light recedes a see woman who begins to speak to me. she's wearing some strange outfit that looks very slutty. "I do not have long to explain she says". "I've finally found you whom may save the future" "what you seen was only meant to be seen by the future's last hope". "what you have seen may... be...our futures.. last hope... soon you will see how you might save the future of our universe. "but first you must find...... a big pause occurs. who! who!, WHO MUST I Find!... PLEASE TELL ME!. a woman begins to shake the young man of Roswell New Mexico roughly and screams in his ear wake up kane edoras you'll be late for school if you do not hurry!.
