I thought I could since I'm fast. You need good technique and experience. I still have a scar above my eye.

I'd love to really learn it if I had the time though. But not sure what I prefer. Parkour or free running.

some parkour is pretty amazeing
when fillmed properly
but its just jumping and fliping and running

most parkour is from ppl who study martial arts or gymnastics

Been doing Parkour since I heard of David Belle a few years ago. It's unbelievably painful when you start doing things like jumping off higher surfaces.
It's a sport that you WILL get hurt doing no matter what. =/ but it's so fun.

Parkour (English: the art of displacement) is recreational activity of French origin, the aim of which is to move from point A to point B as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the abilities of the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment — from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls — and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas.

Does anybody here practice Parkour and if not, would you?

My bro is parkour addict! He keeps showing me what he can do. He made movies and put it on youtube. He keep saying, "When you reach the ground, you have to duck and swirl and transfer the energy that way to the ground so your feet and back dont hurt" I told him hes crazy ..... so after 1 year, BANG, his knee gave out!

Also he made me do some .. I can only do "Lazy Vault" ? , lol, not sure about the name, but it sure sounds like me.

I've seen a few television programs discussing this 'parkour' trend. I saw some of those French kids doing it on YouTube, and hell that looks scary. I would never in a million years do any of that crap just for a pointless game.
