lol i know...they like to hang around in like a Dustbin,.....lolz....and are just crawling inside.....doing a million mouse drops per sec?...lolz...and eat my carpet whilst im asleep

I'm very glad I don't have mice, the worst I've had is roaches, well....My grandparents have roaches. ALOT of roaches, I mean so many, that you'd want to avoid standing next to a wall, because they'll crawl onto you. xD

Speaking of infestations of rodents I thought this story I read in the news paper this morning was hilarious so I shall spread it to all.

Here is a little excerpt from the story.

A rat infestation has closed Fairview Elementary School in Northwest Roanoke less than a week before the start of the school year.

have you considered calling an exterminator???

Too embarrassing have a Van Saying "exterminator" outside my house....and the neighbors....may give me hell...if they start getting the same problem....im to blame

pfft they shouldn't be nosing into your business anyway. don't be put off by what other people think. and if they blame you, either say "better you than me" or um... okay yeah i've got nothing more helpful than "your mice, your problem"
anybody wanna make a better suggestion???

creak

make peace with the mice?
I dunno... that's what I had to do for several years in my house in Jersey ¬_¬;;

just throw some scraps away from the rest of your main food storage place and set some sticky traps near food places you can't protect....

I personally don't have problems with mice... they're so cute :3...
'cept when they jump out at you or scutter across the floor and scare the buh-jeezus out of you ⌐_⌐;;

lol...man im getting abused in a forum...

ok i have called an exterminator Before....and hmm....its a recurring problem oks every1...lolz

since it becoming winter uknow...the mice/rats seek for warm shelter...lolz....
i normally get them usually now (autumn) and winter.....and man its crazy

when i rang the exterminator i amusingly told him to park his van somewhere else....he used these kinda box like traps....which had green capsules (presumably poison) ...
and yeah it killed the mice....however the mouse ended up our boiler and it was cooked away....and we were kinda wonderign where the smell was coming from...until our boiler stopped producing hot water...LOLZ....

it doesnt stop others from coming....yearly....seasonly....

i dunno

Yeah it's the intercity schools so they have all these back up plans available in case stuff like this happens. I still don't understand how people were just now noticing the infestation since office staff is there threw out the summer you would think someone would have noticed it and it would of been cleared up before school was even close to starting.

I really don't think anybody here on CR wants to hear about your beatup house with mice running around ... I honestly dont see a discussion coming out of this topic... Mods up to you to lock or not

ur so mean...... meanie
anyways
get a cat
or a dog
or leave food scrappings in ur neighborswindowsill so all the mice move over
PROBLEM SOLVED!

Thats a good idea when you think about it, but what if the mouse had rabies? I guess if you didn't want the dog lol.

We had a bat that got into my house and wouldn't leave. He was in every dark corner/behind the bookcase, etc. He would fly around during the night. It was only for two days. And my dog would chase him, he would be so happy. I hated the bat, when you'd get up in the morning, he'd be in the corner by the door to the stairs making that annoying alarm sound cause he's scared. We finally got him out in an outmeal can =\ I hated it, all the droppings we had to clean up.

We had a few mice, because we moved into this house during the winter. And the house was old, but after some renovation, and an exterminator... We haven't seen a mouse since.

My only advice is to just get an exterminator. Fuck your neighbors lol, better for you to get rid of them before they get the same infestion. Once you get rid of them, just make sure you don't leave ANYTHING out. It doesn't even take a dirty house, just make sure everythings closed, when you cook wipe down everything.. they can survive off of the smallest things, and they can get into things easily. So make sure you keep cereal etc at high places, and make sure you keep your cabinets organized. Thats all I can offer lol
