Well, it seems to be you are so ashamed of being a Chinese. I mean really, call yourself a Taiwanese from now on. When your white friends ask you about Tibet, you say it's not my country's doing it.

Yes, everywhere. You shouldn't care since you aren't Chinese.
Oh and I saw it on the news today, it seems like the Chinese government wants Tibetans to be gone before Olympics

Insurgencies should be dealt with appropriately. I have no qualm with the Chinese Government doing this to ensure another province doesn't fall into the hands of westerners.

excuse but i feel a bit insulted by this comment. this isn't any humourous laughing matter. just had to say. I am part tibetan, and I find it horrendous what they are doing to us or any of the other ethnicity in china the chinese communist government has harmed. The United States government refuses to take any action due to all the imports of chinese goods into the United States. (U.S. is enormously depended on China) bloody communists.

It is sad what is happening, but there is no one who can stop the Chinese government. China is the country to be watching in the next few decades, start learning chinese people.

The whole situation there is really making me sad. I don't think the Government should be using so much force and I find it very tragic to see Buddhist Monks getting involved, I am Buddhist and work at temple with monks, it's just too much to see them using violence and getting involved into such things.

I am really hoping everything gets better or the people are helped.
This isn't first time Chinese government used violence before, though, so part of me thinks nothing will be changed or helped.

How do you all feel on seeing Buddhist monks in the situation?

I can speak french, but what can that do for me except say "I surrender"...(Je me rends) I have trouble with grammar in other languages (as in the sentence structure, the placement of nouns and verbs)

I would not place India there, because they will always have a counter in Pakistan to check its growth (in relations to becoming a world power).

But the only people that can stop the Chinese government is the people of China itself (but as in the rest of the world, people can barely see outside of their own lives) So will Tibet ever become free? - I highly doubt it.

Always take what you see in the media with a grain of salt. They are giving you a biased opinion - people want you to believe what you are being told and not to ask questions.

how do you know that? I have not lived in the United States longer than a few months each. I was born in India, because my great grandfather was killed due to the chinese government. His brother who was a monk was set on fire because he took down a picture of the chinese communist leader and put up a picture of the Dalai Lama. Our family escaped to India as refugees. Please dont insist I've been raised under a fertile valley of sunshine, bunnys, and a great fettish for loads of garbage.I know what living under poverty is, please undermine others knowledge, and their decisions to believe in what they choose to believe in. I don't think chinese people are bad, though I have little regard towards the chinese government. Please understand.
