Pink Floyd are an amazing band. Their music was so influential when they were together. They put alot of love and soul into their music and thats why they were such a good band to listen to. When putting on a Pink Floyd track you always know you are going to get good quality music.
A link to a Crunchyroll Group for Pink Floyd.

Ive got "The Wall' and i must say its very unique. People say you need to be stoned for the lyrics to make sense lol, but its awesome. As a guitarist i must say they have great guitar work. 'Comfortably Numb' ftw!

A thread for a positively amazing and groundbreaking band that died two years ago and hasn't been bumped since; while threads for overrated kpop boy groups continue to thrive?

They're easily one of my favorite bands. I really can't say how much I love them without going on like a broken record, so I'll just say they are totally brilliant and had a great influence on music. Syd Barrett was my favorite member, although Gilmour was still extremely talented and definitely deserved to be in the band.

First rock album I ever owned was Dark Side of the Moon, it's been history ever since. I really dig the period from when Gilmour joined in '68 to the time Dark Side was released. If you listen to bootlegs and studio albums between Saucerful of Secrets and Dark Side, you can see the band progressing straight toward the genius that they are acclaimed for from '73 onwards. If you can get your hands on it, most fans should really dig the Live at Pompeii show they did in '72. It's a bootleg, but the sound is good and has great versions of "Echoes" and "Careful With That Axe, Eugene". You should probably be able to download it for free somewhere, just google it.
