I agree. Hands are really difficult.
I have trouble with eyes too as it is hard to get a feeling of life into them.

That is striking. It hurts my head just to look at it. It makes me want to quit drawing forever (not that I draw often... ha) while at the same time it makes me want to pick up my sketch book and finally sign up for a drawing class... Ugg. I'm jealous, but in a nice way...

Three of my humble efforts. Please be kind as I had not drawn anything for about 25 years and was never any good at art in the first place.

Ok, since this is an art thread I guess you can ask some advice correct?...

Well I'll ask anyways, If not I'll correct myself.

Alright, the question is a confusing one. I'm trying to draw an anime/manga version of myself (yes I know, thats very nerdy of me but why not?) thing is I'm having trouble drawing hair (its not because I don't have one specific hair style). The reason being is because I'm not like most people with one crown of hair. I have two. What do I do? More like how do I draw that?

.

draw the outline first (shape of your hair), like how big it is or fluffy it is.. then draw the strands and shadings inside.

Thankyou, but I'm talking about direction of the hair, since your hair is based on the crown I'm asking how would I put direction in the hair if there are 2 crowns? Thats all.

Very good dkscotland, if you're going to continue drawing then you're probably going to have a bit of a head start over some people, because you're doing pretty dang good there. work on the proportions a bit more. The proportions aern't too bad, but you could touch up on it.

Demi: You're welcome, the best thing to do for learning to draw hands is to do one of two things (or you could do both). Take a look at this tutorial: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/23565813/ or you can study the anatomy of the human hand learning the bone structure and the muscle structure (basically look up the human hand in skeletal form and in muscle form, draw and using your own hand for reference helps, just don't open up your hand to see what the bone structure is like)
