I'd say Japan.

What most people don't realize is japan can't really make my high-hp cars due to the taxes and different caps on performance that the gov't puts on them.

bigger your engine size in litres, the more you pay a month. same goes with the 10yr road hazard tax where you need to pay extra cash on insurance since the car could possibly be deemed unsafe.

road size is also a factor when on side streets a two-way road is the same size as a US one-way. so, if you are driving an xB and a nother xB is coming your way, one of you has to pull to the side for the other to pass.

and when it comes to high performance... the potential is there.

The new GTR and TopSecret's V12 widebody Supra and Veilside's 1000+whp club are proof of that.

Japan, because Subaru is Japanese.

The "nation with the greatest cars" subject is a very subjective. Pointless thread ...

they have nice cars but it's not the best or most expensive. Italy, Britain and Japan have nice cars too!

Expensive doesn't mean its the best. The more expensive a car is, the more attention you'll get, hence the reason for attention whores buying these expensive cars.

I do not beleive anything from the Koenigsegg linup is more expensive than an Enzo. BTW, Koenigsegg is Swedish (I think).....

Seems like the Car section is fueled by such 'which-thing-is-the-best' topics....

most of the other sections are like that as well. (though people don't realize there is no such thing as THE best...)
