K, so i've readjusted the question so it's easier, what do you think your country would be capable of and what your opinion on it would be. It can be any country. Example: my country: Canada, capable of: not much, against: anyone, and i don't support war.

This stuff gets me going, and i'd like to see others points of views on it.

As a member of the U.S. Navy I even think the war's getting rediculous. And as a corpsman I'm probably one of the only members of the Navy to be going anyways. It just sucks.

Umm...what? "It can be any country". Lol?

Anyway. Apart from the fact that this thread doesn't encourage an extended discussion and it really should be in the general section, I can't really see Australia having much impact in a war, especially since it's still officially a part of Britain (or at least we still have ties with Britain now). So I guess if you mess with us, you mess with Britain (and probably the whole UN), so we're like omg gangstaaaa =3

Canada's armed forces doesn't amount to much. We're pretty anti-war... even though we do have forces in Afghanistan. If we get attacked, though (although I don't see why anyone would ever want to attack Canada), we've got the good ol' Yankees next door to back us up. Hooray for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization!

On a side note, it WAS Canada who took down Vimy Ridge in WWI, so it's not like our military's incompetent. It's just not so big.

to me war is pointless it doesn't get anywhere all it does is make things worse. it makes peopel annoyed sad because there loved wons has died for nothing look at world war one it was a long and pointless war most of there time was in the trenches rather than attacking the opposing country and another example would be the Iraq war pointless.

My country is capable of stealing. Mostly smuggling stuff but stealing ideas is also part of my country's capabilities

Yeah Canada has a rather weak military, but I am sure it is a competent force. I like where our stance in war which is peacekeeper, though we are playing a combat role in Afghanistan which kind of grinds my gears.

If our troops weren't constantly being fired upon in Afghanistan, I believe they would quickly go back to peacekeeping, which means they take their hints from the lack of local Afghanistan hospitality, and get themselves the heck outta there.
