Seriously, this manga is awesome. I can almost guarantee that this will become a anime in about a year (when more volumes come out)
Story: The school is becomes infected by the "zombie" virus and the protaganist is forced to bash the shit out of his classmates with a bat. Thats all you need to know for now. For games, Tales of Legendia, Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. (Or just a PROPER anime for Symphonia and not this little condensed OVA that exists.) Also, I'd say Soul Calibur and MAYBE Tekken. Soul Calibur more than Tekken, though.
For light novels, a series called Percy Jackson and the Olympians, (by Rick Riordan)  http://www.rickriordan.com/LightningThief2.mp3 A lot more amazing than it sounds like, trust me.
