yes...indian and pakistani girls make these really beautiful and delicate designs on their hands mainly on special occassions...like marriage...engagement...religious festivals and so on...its not a fake tatto..its a design drawn using henna leaf powder paste..its herbal and completely natural and safe for the skin also....its very traditional..and if i may add...it looks very very beautiful...

In some countries Henna is a type of art and is put on in times of celebration. Some of those arts are quite amazing.

They're great for when you decide to have a real tattoo, because you can get a henna and get a taste of how it feels to have a tattoo on you, that sort of thing, and it just helps you make your mind up. Thats what I did ^_^
