It occurs to me that there are several reasons why people get various piercings. Often, the motivation is a combination of these reasons... 1. Decorative - you like the way the piercing enhances your appearance. 2. Shock Value - you like affecting other people's reaction to you. 3. Sensation - some piercings change or enhance sensations in the area pierced. 4. reserved for hardcore (I leave this one to your speculations)

My favourites include the venombites with the vertical labret, simple nose ring, three industrials piercing the skin around the underside of the navel in a half circle (I'm sure it has a name, but dont know it), nipples, and industrials in the ears.

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 12/14/12 I currently have my septum, both nostrils, belly button, and my ear's are stretched to an inch (25mm). I used to have 2 lip rings (commonly known as snake bites), 3 surface bars in the nape of my neck, and I had other holes in my ears stretched to a much smaller gauge. I'd like to have several more piercings. Dimples, high nostril, dermals in multiple places on my face and body, philtrum, several various ear piercings, uhm, then some piercings in my more personal areas, if you get what I am saying, hahaha.
