O.C.D. ( Obsessive Compulsive Disorder )
Posted 9/1/08
You know what, if every human in the world were diagnosed, I'm sure each of us will be diagnosed with something.

I dunno if practicing self-control would help because it seems to be a mental issue.

I don't have OCD, but my ex-teacher had a serious case. She was a great teacher, but waaaay too picky.
She was a really hard grader (esp. for essays and things like that) and she even told us that she needs to drive especially to the coast, which is about two hours away, to some spring to get her drinking water.
Seriously, she even went to see a psychiatrist and everything

OCD is its more like.....

you keep on doing it because your frustrated about it thinking it was there and so you do it again and again

but locking the door and check once it a while i think its because you either feel insecure of its just habit

Showering few times a day doesnt make you OCD....
what do you expect of baby? Parents sometimes bath them a lot of them due to hot weather or because their kids are sweating a lot

Most OCD i think related to hygienic of a person
And theres no such thing as
"I think I have OCD"
Do you know that its actually OCD or dont you?
Try consulting a doctor if you think you have OCD
Its the doctor said its not OCD then theres nothing for you to worry

I always organise everything on my teacher's desk before I leave the room. Only with one particular lesson and one particular teacher though... :P

I know quite a few people with OCD tendencies, but not properly OCD. Little things like being particular with lining books up on desks and stuff. Mind you with today's educational environment, it's not surprising that so many younger people have these little quirks about them. All perfectionism and crap -_- In my school, you're considered pretty much a failure if you get anything lower than A-... So it's no wonder that you pick up these strange habits.

I haven't been tested for this sort of thing, and i know that i do not need too since i live out my daily activities just fine. But i have an OC towards objects being in place (most likely in my room or anything that is my personal belongings around the house). Everything must be in place, and left where it was unless i move it myself. I can tell upon entering my room and sense that my mother or little cousin has touched and moved something out of place while cleaning or looking for something, i go into a frenzy trying to find the problem.

I have a moderate case of OCD. I can't sleep unless everything it don't. I can't stay calm if I don't do certain things. It kinda sucks.

My friend has O.C.D, but I think the majority of people out there use it as an excuse to get pity.

My friends say that I have O.C.D, but I don't see a problem with carrying sanitizer around and always checking where I'm about to sit, difference between O.C.D and staying clean.
