I have been talking to a lot of people hear in CR and as a person who is born and currently living in Japan, i want to know what things pops in your mind when encountered with the word "Japan"....
I didnt included "anime" since most people will probably say it...
So name three things, okay...

the first thing that pops into my mind is NewS! im a huge fan of them!!

the second thing is food!! i've seen Arashi no Shukudai-kun and the food always looks really good!!

and clothes...i really like the style in Japan. cosplay is cool too! and the harajuku style too!!
