Looks like CR is major now with Viacom taking interest in it. And I suppose the whole 'shinji' thing is a sham based on what is written here. James Hong and
Jim Young are 2 creators of HotorNot and the article mentions a third person involved in the formation of CR, I wonder who it is.

On the other hand this article may be a bunch of crap, i'm not sure, but I found it interesting.

It could very well be true. If so it's brilliant, but the any more limelight and this site might be compromised. Which would be very sad and I'd have to renue my search for an easily navigated anime source.

Well, I remember shinji mentioned somewhere that his friends are helping out too..

I wonder if this site is really as described by the article. Hopefully not.

And they seem to swing both ways with crunchyroll users on the defensive and other annonymous users attacking. But there seems to be a bit of useless discussion as to the reality of Shinji. How on earth can the creator's actual self be of any consequence to the legality of the site? Ah well, I suppose it's just one of those trivial bones of contention.

I'm on the side of crunchyroll of course, as I don't see offering a means to get media online for money a great offense.

The article i feel is not reliable, it does not state any sources that the research has been done on and if wikipedia is reliable, i don't see this piece of important information missing out on wikipedia. In fact wikipedia is one of the most reliable free web encyclopedia, if CR is really on the news, such an article can definitely be reached from wikipedia.

*chuckles* yes, wikipedia has come a long way. I remember a time when it was a joke encyclopedia with wonderfully creative alternate explinations. *sigh* I kinda miss that.

^ Godammit can you for once in your life post something in this forum with actual substance? quoting the first post and typing 'interesting' amounts to nothing.
