To sum it quite simply yes! Its honestly not a surprise though sadly. Because even if we come up with more glorifying effects for the new movies doesn't mean they will have original plots. I mean it was the lackluster first time tricks in older movies that lets us really imagine. I`m sure that fantasy style movies have lost their edge due to being created constantly with so much flash and so little true literary substance. So it pretty much saddens me to see such things.

!!Wheres the movie magic....is it behind a computer screen now and not in the script?

Totally behind script. No what they do they can't beat a good plot.

Frankly "Old, is Gold" - Fact. And i believe alot of people would agree! I have been rather unsatisfied with some latest releases! expecting to much, ugh.. damn it. But i suppose there will be one of a few new films which could possibly beat old ones, ..ugh perhaps. *walks away.. slowly*

<.<

THAT REMINDS ME, at college last year we watched "It came from outer space" like 1950s sci-fi film, it is AMAZINGly.. FUNNY! great movie, i enjoyed it, even though it was so old, but .. omg. ._.' AND don't get me started with the cheesy music, wow.

In the new ones people just look cooler farting flames and other impossible shit like that.
I'd go with old movies.
