Wahahaha. I know, it smells really *ewww*. I sometimes dare to just get bitten by mosquitoes when I was still in Philippines and our house was not screened yet. Luckily that was only for a short period of time. XD

Note: Searched for Mosquito, Mosquito Coil(s), no satisfactory results. Hello! Im back and Im making new random threads. XP

Just the same as the rice cooker, Mosquito coils are rarely known in the western world(maybe just in US and in Europe),maybe not, but in Asia...

Mosquito Coils are used as Mosquito repellent. You light the Mosquito coil, and its smoke drives the mosquito away. It is usually used outdoors, and sometimes indoors.

Mosquito Coil used in the Korean Drama "9 Ends 2 Outs".

So what is so interesting with this so-called "Mosquito Coil"? The fact that you probably dont know what it is, is interesting itself. So WHO here knows and have seen or experienced the power of the Mosquito Coil? Describe and Discuss. XP

My family used to use them until we heard that they were toxic. Now we would rather have a couple mosquito bites than cancer xD

(btw I know that nostalgic smell, I still like it even tho its not good for my health)

I dont think the color has something to do with it. I know the green one for I used one but I dont know what the difference between the green and brown. Not sure, maybe somebody here knows.

It works for repelling mosquitoes or lighting some dangerous fireworks.
I tried using a violet colored one which is scented but it works badly unlike the original green one which smells bad.
