I think licensed anime should still be allowed on Crunchyroll because people all around the world use this site. The licensing only applies to North America, but what about everyone else? It probably doesn't apply there so they should still be able to watch it freely. It seems unfair. Why can't we keep them for the sake of others?

I guess that if there could be some way of blocking users due from certain series depending on their country it might be legal to still show it. The thing is, the shows that are licensed can still be seen on sites that have less regard for the law, so nobody loses anything.

CR's great strength, in my eyes, is that it has 100s of series that the others don't have and that by doing a bit of experimentation you can find some real jewels that you would never have known existed on sites that only deal with the popular (and often lower standard) animes.

well then all those others should use site that are not based in North America. but CR is based in the US and has to follow the laws set by it. being that it is based in the US all copy right laws have to be followed.

and if u didnt know any of the Japanese companies can pull stuff off here with out licensing in in North America . such is the case of Bandai when it pulled all the gundam shows off

If you haven't noticed: CR is a free anime site, keyword free therefore the people who worked hard on the anime and make a living off they're work dont get squat. And so they dont get forced into bankruptsy due to the fact that they aren't getting any money they license they're prouduct. It's not in ANY way unfair, it was unfair for us to make it free, they worked hard on it and they have every right to make money off it. If you're actualy a supporter of the series you'd go out and buy the episodes on DVD and stop all this pussy whining.

CR is based in California so it has to obey American Law.
