haha I guess that's why our local manga bookstore has some chairs at the end of the manga aisle XD

People have stood in front of a certain shelf as they flipped through books, but they're always good about moving. I've never encountered anyone sitting down and blocking the aisle. I always try and find a seat if I want to preview a volume.

Those would be called "manga cows". Seriously, a bookstore is a place to BUY books. It's not a library. And sadly, thanks to these people, the manga can get wrecked, extra stuff in the back like stickers can get stolen, and more, it's ridiculous. I've noticed manga in new condition look a bit more like they've been used thanks to them. Bookstores frown upon these people for good reason. I've seen many of these people at the closest Barnes and Noble when I'm buying manga. Seriously, there is a place to skin read through the stuff to see if you want to buy it. There are couches near the manga section.

to my luck i have never encountered such a person at my bookstore here in canada but there are some people who stand there looking for a certain manga title that clearly isnt in that section (we have a second manga sections for stuff thats for older audiences) when there is a computer right beside the book cases to search the stores inventory.... god it makes me mad
