It's irritating when they do that. I read most of my manga online but when I do go to the local bookstore's manga section, I go during the brats' school hours because the store is quiet and I don't have to put up with them clogging the aisles.
Of course when I say brat I'm only referring to those annoying ones who inconsiderately sprawl out in the aisles, just to make things clear |

I'm one of those people....but I move when someone comes into the aisle! |

Thats smart. I try to hit stores at night, just before they close.

Ha, if I see a manga I might like, I just go to the seating area, you know, where you're suppose to sit if you want to read? If I'm at Borders or Barnes and Nobel, I buy a coffee and sit in the cafe.
I met a few of these kids (emo kids too) who just sat there reading God knows what. One of them grabbed the wrapped manga and tore the wrapping off. Now I don't work at bookstores, but I know what it feels like when a customer messes your stuff up. I asked the kid, "Are you going to pay for that?" He said, "Piss off." lol I said, "How about I stomp on your face? If you're not going to pay with cash, maybe I'll skin you and make you pay with your body. I have an idea, how does an enema sound?" Man, the kid's expression when I said enema was priceless. The kid was like 13-14 years old. I called one of the workers over who allowed me to grab that kid, pick him up, and throw him out of the store. The worker forced the two girls to leave also. That made my day great. To top it off, the guy gave me a copy of PC Gamer as thanks . |

LOL @ this thread.
Why waste time with that when you can just download the anime. Go out and get some exercise or hang out with friends while your comp is busy d/ling 5-10 gigs of manga. At least, thats what I'd do if I read that much manga...I just do that with anime. |

Buying manga is good for traveling in the car. I would bring my labtop, but I don't like people looking at my screen. My bro would probably poke fun at the fact I'm reading manga online.
Anyways, yeah, there are a lot of annoying kids blocking the manga aisle. They like to hang out there because it's in the back of the store and away from everybody else. One time I saw a couple making out right in front of the manga. Ew, get a room, seriously. But most of the time there's a bunch of nerds or "wapanese." I heard one guy correcting how his friend was saying manga. "That's not the correct way to say it! It's not Man-ga, its Mahn-ga!" |
