I use to read manga in borders and etc., but i blocked the sci-fi section or the romance section, because people barely go there on the times that I go to....I get annoyed when people block the manga section, though

now i just read manga from the library and online :]

lmao this made my day. I know what you mean though. I don't bother going to regular bookstores for manga anymore. Where I buy my manga now you're not allow to stand around and read so i don't have to deal with that stuff.

i work in the building industry, stand at over 6-foot tall with a fairly big frame and tend to put on a mean face without really realising it (my neutral face i say when someone comments about it) so you can imagine if anyone is blocking the aisle up, they're sure as f*ck not blocking it when i walk in after work still in my dirt covered uniform. I really don't give a shit if some clean-cut nerd has a problem with my work-related stink up his aisle-clogging nostrils and if he says something, then i'll laugh in his face, glare at him, tell him i don't give a f*ck, then pay for my selected books and leave.

I'm one of the people that will stand there and read >>; but I always move out of the way if someone's looking for something.

Lmao "douche bags who always block the aisles at bookstores"
yeah well when ever I go to Barnes & Noble no one is ever in the manga
section so I just get all my books and I read there even though I don't read many mangas.
Yesterday I was reading there and there were some weird ass teen boys there.

I'm one of those people, except I move when people look like they want to enter the aisle, and I'm not typically reading mainstream manga.

This has been bothering me for a while. Every time I go to a bookstore to browse through their manga section (which is usually filled with nothing but drivel, incidentally) there are always about five or six kids sitting right in the aisle reading (usually some BS like Bleach). Now, I wouldn't make that big deal about it, if it weren't for the fact that it happens every damn time I go to the bookstore, regardless of which bookstore it is.

Seriously, it's like some freaking epidemic. Oh, and the worst ones, are the inconsiderate little punks who feel the need to sit with their frikkin legs ACROSS THE WHOLE AISLE, and won't even bother to move them, making me step over their lazy asses.

There's also the ones who won't move, even if they're blocking off a section I want to look through. Thankfully, most of them can be kicked out of the way. Unfortunately, there is always the occassional 500-pounder, who absorbs my foot like the freaking blob.

Anyway, I was just wondering if it's like that everywhere in the world, and if it bothers anyone else.

Dude I just step on the guys who do that and let them deal with 170 pounds of weight on their tiny legs. If they do complain (which has happened) I just say they are reading your books without any thought of buying them and they are blocking your aisles from paying costumers, which is then fallowed by security looking down those aisles picking them up and throwing them out. Was quite hilarious.

The romance section NEEDS to be blocked. You were just doing the world a favor.

omg its only worse at borders cause anywhere else you don't see them
i nearly trip over a couple of them everytime i went to borders and came close to knocking my eye out on the bookshelves or worse the corner of the bookshelves cause they won't stop sitting all over the floor when there was chairs around the store
