No hobos roaming! But when its hot its HOT and when its cold its COLD and its so dry. Oh and I love how bell peppers are listed as capsicums in the grocery (I was confused as a kid as to why - now I realise its the genus).

i've never heard of bell peppers in my life! and i kinda disagree about the weather.. i mean, winter's not that cold .. and summers are getting less hot. AND as for hobos , have you been to central?? i'm not saying they roam the streets BUT at night .. there's hobos EVERYWHERE .

i'm a sydney liver btw and if in australia, theres nowhere better to be than sydney :D

I live in Melbourne...
What I like about Australia is: Tv (Thank God You're Here, Rove, Summer Heights High etc..), so much wide/ open space, how it is multicultural etcetc.
What I dislike about Australia: Kevin Rudd, Neighbours + Home and Away (TV), footy (Hate it to the core), yeah...

I could add more to the list, but being Australian, I'm to damn lazy too

It's so hard to say what I think about my country. I have nearly 50 years of experiences based here. The best advice I could give someone would be to visit Australia and see for yourself. Melbourne (where I live) is the 2nd largest city, having about 3 million people, I think. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. If you have heard the stereotypes about kangaroos hopping down the Bourke Street Mall, koalas everywhere, cattle farms etc, they are wrong This city is like so many others in the world and yet so unique. The weather is notorious for having 4 seasons weather in the one day. Overall the people are friendly and will talk to you nicely (there are exceptions). It is a multicultural society, as is a lot of Australia. There is a song which many believe shoudl be our national anthem which contains the line "we are one, but we are many, and from all the lands on earth we come". I think this about sums it up. Your country (Singapore) is beautiful btw. I visited Singapore some time ago and would love to go back there one day.

now dont you tell this person lies. i used to take the kangaroo pouch to work till i got a car. koalas are used in in fast food resteraunts ever since it was deemed no human should have to work under the conditions.

Austrailia's pretty awesome. But everyone seems to think there are kangaroos and stuff hopping around everywhere. There aren't xD (in Sydney anyway). Our education system is really good is you ask me (which you did).
Once again I do NOT own a kangaroo. (Emu's on the other hand) ;P
