lol yay thread for canada! I remember once there was this show on CBC called "Talking to Americans" with Rick Mercer (No offence to any americans ). I think he asked George Bush before he became president on what he thought about Canada's preservation of the national...he thought it was true... To think this is the man leading the most power full nation in the world XD. Anywho, Canada's the best place in world cuz of 1) Hockey, 2) Maple Syrup, n 3) BEAVERS! Yup n thats my two cents on this

This is becoming a very interesting thread lol. Well, this other guy went around talking to Americans saying stuff like "Our president, Tim Horton, is issuing a policy..." LMAO Tim Horton XD

Canada is a sub temperate zone, so we do get seasons [ALL FOUR!]. In fact, this summer we had, like, 39 degree weather [102 Fahrenheit], so it's not always cold and snowy. And it's not all rural either. The city I live in is one of the largest cities [area-wise] in North America, so yeah. Tom Green lol. OK, rant's over.
Oh yeah, Francois Marie Voltaire once said, in response to the French losing possession of Canada, "It was only a few acres of snow." Canada is the second largest country in the world, man! And he calls himself a thinker... *shakes head*

Haha this is funny, President Tim Horton! XD What would Stephen Harper think of that? Well we did have a fun little test thing in my Socials class and most kids only knew about the Celebrities. Only about 5 of us knew what Paul Martin looked like at the time XD That was still when he was Prime Minister, too :P

People don't really know much about Canada because all some people know are from jokes on American TV. Oh well, we have stronger beer!
Posted 9/11/07
hahah i watched this beer comercial in social about being canadian this guy named Joel or something and he was like IM CANADIAN and then he says we say zed not ze and some other things and all of sudden its like a beer comercial yeah class laughed but he really was saying that truth bout all that stuff.... XD President Tim Horton?? We dont have presidents and we have yet to elect a donut/coffee etc shop as our prime minister..

I'm not really making fun of Americans, I'm just pointing out people's ignorance. And you guys make fun of us all the time anyways.
Tim Hortons is amazing. I like the breakfast sandwiches. We have more donut shops per capita because of them. Not like that's important lol.
I was just talking to a friend about this she was like "We know about YOUR country, what's the difference?"
