New Opeth Song With Footage

Great to see the guys still kicking. Akesson's solo suits their style well. Can't wait for Watershed.

I am going to make this into a general Opeth thread since this one is too narrow and limits any discussion

I cant' wait to see them again at the dream theater tour.

Thanks! Argh, why can't they tour Malaysia. D: Damn you narrow minded government! Are you gonna get their 2 disc rereleased version of Still Life?

Still Life owns! Ghost Reveries was meh. I still prefer Martin Lopez over Axenrott. Axe is more of a metal drummer whereas Martin has a more jazzy style. In the Roundhouse Tapes, Axe kinda killed Windowpane. =\

True, but even so he's pretty good, just not compared to Martin.

Definitely Still Life or Blackwater Park (first album I heard from them, most accessible one as well). Or maybe Damnation if you like their softer stuff.

I recommend watching this vid to start things off because it's one of their shorter songs and it contains a lot of elements that make Opeth unique. Watch it from start to finish and listen with an open mind.
